I'm the wife of a porn addict and I wanted to say, I am so happy for you!!

I keep going over the line, "Thankfully I am not H.I.V positive even though I deserve it." I want you to know you don't deserve bad things. You have an addiction. You did things due to that addiction. Now you are working to change and help yourself. You deserve good things! Virtual hugs and I just prayed for you.

Forgive me for asking, but how did you keep track of the amount of sexual partners? 196 seems high to count without effort!

 

People with this kind of problem with sex generally have deep seated psychological issues with sex from when they were younger. Girls who were abused tend to be notoriously promiscuous, it's just how it is. I would suggest continuing therapy. Thanks for sharing your story.

Perhaps you made 196 mistakes in the past, but it seems that you have corrected this by 167 days of celibacy. Think about it, in just 29 days you will have made more correct decisions than mistakes.

It's not a miracle. It's hard work, determination and perseverance.

You deserve a lot of credit for your accomplishment.

If you had sex addiction, you probably have co-dependency issues as well. I would suggest you look into that. But moreover, I hope you asked God for forgiveness . You need to get saved. I would cry out to God if I were you. God Bless, Sara.
