    It does get a bit easier at this point, but urges still exist. But the difference is, you can actually resist them easier by that point. This is all new for me too, so I myself am hoping it gets a little easier as the days go by.

    Hey man,

    I think buying into that guilt for me is a big part of what has kept me relapsing in the past. I think addictions like this convince you that relapse isn't a big deal when you get the urge, then immediately afterwards convince you you're some kind of uniquely incapable monster. I would suggest really trying to not by into that guilt, given my own experience. Say "I reject to feel guilt, I will learn from this," or something to that affect when you feel guilt or shame.

    Something I try to do is remind myself that the voice in my head telling me to feel guilt and shame about having an addiction is the same one that's telling me to use. It's meant to keep you an addict, isolating you from everything else until it's you and your addiction. In terms of relapsing for awhile, I've had that too, but we have to be aware that this is a process addiction, it takes time, and all we can to is try harder. Don't beat yourself up, we all fall at times, the important thing is we get back up, learn from it and fight it harder!

    Today's day 2 for me. I've been feeling better due to a re-commitment to morning routines and prayer throughout the day. I have to get started on the right foot each day, I can't wait a few hours then try to get readjusted. That's a recipe for my triggers, I've found, because I tend to get stressed and bored very easily that way and I look for temporary pleasures. If I get started by meditating, praying, reading helpful lit I start my day focused and ready. Something I'll continue to practice.

    Going to try a new mindset. Instead of counting the days, I'm simply going to tell myself that I'm not going to PMO for the rest of the year, if not longer.

    Day 4 I believe and struggling a little bit. I've been through a rough patch with PMO and was doing it almost 3 times a day, so the last 4 days have been fairly different for me. I need some motivation to keep going though. Any advice guys?

    You are on your way to freedom bro, you've been fapping 3 times a day, that doesnt matter anymore. Some people did it 60 years long, some did it 10 times a day, it is all in the past.

    You're living now in the present, you are a recovering PMO addict, keep pushing through!

    I would recommend cold showers and just don't fap, it is like we all know that we'll feel like shit after you fap. So just don't.

    Feel free to contact me if you are about to fap and need some accountability.
