I was free 8 months before. But I was probably using subP and MOing. This was a few years ago before I found out about the no pmo.

I don't know... 90-100 wasn't enough for me and i ended up watching porn again... Not on a daily basis, but i did fall back into it.
Not sure if you can get totally over it. Even though you do forget about porn to an extent when you reboot, you have to stay alert as your brain still remembers it as "something you enjoy", and if you're feeling low your brain can trick you to relapse no matter how many days free.

I have gone two weeks and so far the urge to watch porn hasn't been so bad, until this morning I got the urge to watch but I quickly got my mind off it. I'm pretty sure for its gonna take a while longer for it to completely go away but I'm just gonna take it one day at time. Just stick with it zxcv!

Fix your mind, your perception of why it's bad, instead of starving yourself, like a cold turkey. You can't play with numbers, you need to actively change how you think, and what you want to achieve through beating the problem.

What do you want? How bad do you want it? If you think it's a challenge, then you'll keep making excuses for yourself. You need to rise above it and squash it like a bug, as it's an easy task to avoid.

You just feel it. It's when you don't even think about it, and need it.

It depends from person to person, from case to case.

Personally when I started I was convinced that Porn gave me PIED and I hated Porn for that, I hated it woith all my heart. So it was easy to get over Porn.
Now I don't even think about it, I don't need it, I don't miss it.

I am still dealing with my ED, what I need/want/miss/think is Sex, not porn.

Keep up the good work, this program works.

  9. It specifically depends from person to person, but days shouldn't be here as numbers. Basically it is about you improving yourself.
When you become serious, persistent and know why you decided to get over the bad habits and when you start to feel that your mind is changing. That is where you are on your way to win !

I'm just keeping the number for the first 90 days. I think it's pointless too. Though it seems like a year of being free is a important date. At least it's how long it seems like girls want you to be free before they'll consider you for a boyfriend.

I actually don't have much of a problem with dating sites. Though that's where I'm looking to find a girlfriend.

That's not a healthy way of thinking.

I know it's not a good. But that's what girl Christian girls seems to want. :( But then again, I'd probably have a hard time dealing with a girlfriend that isn't a virgin.(Not a fetish thing) I'm more of the type that just wants to get married.

I'm over 450 days PMO free, and about 10 months p-sub free (I think, haven't actually tracked, just looking back). I don't remember it as something I enjoy, at all. Not even (to the extent I can be aware) subconsciously/compulsively. Occasionally I have an urge, but it's an urge to O. When I think of porn, it's hard to describe how I feel about it. Intellectually, and morally, I'm disgusted by the reality of the porn industry, but the thought of porn itself doesn't disgust me, viscerally. For lack of a better word, it just seems dumb. Just "why would I want that?"

That's why i put it between quotation marks. I don't enjoy porn anymore but due to the dopamine spike when i watch it my brain believes i do. The brain knows it's an easy way to boost dopamine and when you're feeling down it may want to trick you into using it, even if you're disgusted by it.

You have described this addiction as I want to see it. Thank you for writing such a logical and well balanced statement. Very concise and clear.
