    Hi,


    So for whatever reason iv arrived here via a face book post from vice I think, and I’ve read your brain on porn and watched a few clips of people talking about their journey and relapse and it felt like a bit of an awakening.

    Reading YBOP really hit a cord in my head it just made a lot of sense before id just not thought about it that much well not in that context, before id dismissed the notion as anti porn being a moralistic crusade and just said fuck it is not doing any harm.

    The idea of the benefits made sense and actually inspired me and triggered curiosity as well. then I stumped on some clip of a really hot blonde girl talking about masturbation I’m thinking shit this is not going to be easy! LOL

    I’ll see how it goes and post what i find..

    Welcome @Jimbo3 ! Glad you saw some accounts from people who want to rid porn and masturbation from their lives. I am still new to this but I do believe NoFap is a great place and there is much to learn!

    Good luck to both of you! My tips to you would be : 1, take each day at a time, having an overall goal is good but if you focus on it too much the task becomes daunting. Just tell yourself all you have to do is get through today. It becomes so much easier then. 2) identify your triggers and get tri of them. My trigger was PMOing before I sleep so I never sleep in the same room as my iPad, I read before I sleep etc.

    3) write a journal and do it everyday. You will get support, you will get clarity. It is an amazing and helpful thing.
