Is taking anti-androgens considered cheating?

Title. I should be getting on anti-andros sometime this month and they have the side effect of lowering libido severely. Personally I don't really have any experience but sex has always been kind of disgusting (though somehow that doesn't stop the relapsing as much as you'd expect). What I'm trying to say I guess is that when I go on the pills I won't have any sort of urge to relapse at all which is great! But it feels like cheating for some reason. I doubt any of you have been on anti-andros but I wanted to know what you thought because I'm really lonely and don't have anyone else to talk to about this.

If you don't know what anti-androgens are they are a drug that blocks the action of male sex hormones (think testosterone!)

Are you trans? If not why are you going on AAs?

As for your question, as long as you arent watching porn or using porn subs you arent cheating. If you are willing to deal with the side effects that come with it, I could see them helping you. However when you do get off you will be face with reality and you will have to fight much stronger urges, so in that way it will catch up to you anyway, unless you do behavioural therapy.

I don't look at it as cheating.

I don't know much about anti-andros except what you just said. Do you take them temporarily during a transition phase, or long-term or what?

Either way, I don't look at it as cheating. I am just curious.

You're doing what you need to do to be yourself. If anti-andros have the added side effect of helping you achieve other goals you have like no-fapping, I'd definitely just go with it and not give yourself a rough time about it.

    Many well wishes to you.
