There are P-subs in every commercial, ad, and website.

There is no escaping P-Subs. They are simply everywhere.
To be clear what I consider a P-sub is probably different then what you consider a P-sub.

    What I consider a P-sub:
The following applies to only artificial things like TV or the internet
    • Any girl (real or animated)
    • Any thing that sounds like moaning (people being injured)
    • Any talk about sexual things
    • Thumbnails with girls in it
    • My own thoughts that are not about real life women
    • Hearing a girls voice
Maybe I'm being too extreme, but I also have 85 days of no porn. I have taken rebooting very seriously. And I'm happy.

I made this post because, I wanted to know how many of you also consider the things listed above to be P-subs. Also do you avoid them like me? (I simply dont watch YouTube or TV anymore unless it's specific videos I have preselected)

I care more about my happiness then watching TV, however my school work requires me to go on school websites which show girls smiling. So I cover the screen and do my best to do my work.

I consider P-subs sexually suggestive things that I expose myself to for the sake of getting my dopamine fix. Nothing else.

What you mean are triggers. You appear to be quite sensitive to that indeed. Let's hope it will pass at some point. We can find beauty in the feminine without connecting it to sex!

@Cantkeepmeaway : install "block images" app while surfing. problem solved. also quit watching tv. quit. quit. quit. quit everything. only you left.

  4. Yes. Sex sells. In the beginning of the modern advertising era, let's say "Mad Men", around the sixties, the ad men knew that sex sells. They did not know the mechanics of the psychology, they did not know the "why" of why sex sells, or the "why" of why the human brain is fascinated by sexual imagery. Now, 2016, they know that sexual imagery results in one of the most pleasurable, dopamine, brain reactions possible. They use sexual imagery because they know sexual imagery can be used to manipulate the human brain into finding something "interesting". If a product is, in our minds, even subtly, sexually interesting, we are more apt to purchase it. Should we be bothered by this? Naw, don't be bothered. But, be self aware. A dopamine rush is not a bad thing, and, in nature, naturally occurring, serves its purpose quite well, but be aware it can be abused to the point of addiction. Knowledge is power. Get Educated. I see you are. Peace.

How do you do this? I checked that app store (I have an Android) didn't see anything

  6. At OP: while the decision to quit porn, if done right, is for life....the quitting stage does not have to be. This is why many choose the hard 90. So, the easy answer to the Android app is: during the hard 90, get a dumb phone. Make accessing it from the phone totally impossible. After the reboot, pick the smart phone back up.

  7. I'm doing the exact same as you. I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this.

Thank you. Good to know I'm not alone too.

I our brains are more rebooted then most Fapstronauts.

And wtf @Fake Till You Become you seriously going to put that image after this post I made? Wow.... I struggle and beat myself up every day for little triggers I don't need a fellow fapstronaught on NoFap intentionally posting P-subs on a post I made.

Just because you're failing doesn't mean you have to drag me down with you

Having recently tossed all my porn and toys, I'm glad I'm not the only one. With all the sexually orient ads, subject, etc on tv it's really hard. Dealing with the no porn is hard. Not masturbating is a real problem. I can do it just regular tv. I have no problem fantasizing. I too need my life back, so I'm at the ground level fighting my way back.

oh i use this kind of phone :D. So no apps, no triggers either :D. I only use my laptop. typing on phone is an painful experience. use "block image" extension from chrome, or "image block add-on from firefox. Or if you want more extreme, use "text web browser": https://www.webbie.org.uk/webbrowser/

I agree, there is a difference between triggers and P-subs.
But everywhere you look there are adds with sexual content as we all know sex sells!
These are triggers that make it hard to concentrate on your re-boot.

Sometimes, may be. But unless you're dwelling in a mountain cave it's hard to escape them.
