... and I thank those of you who have commented and thanked me lately! NoFap is about mutual encouragement. It might seem odd, but I get encouragement from those who are in much earlier stages, because we're all running the same race, no matter how far along. I'm now over 10½ months into Hard Mode no-PMO, and I have no doubt that I'll glide past my current one-year goal. I hope the same for the rest of my NoFap brothers. Be strong. Peace!

Hey, Harry and Parker. I'm very glad to have helped! I did over a year off masturbation, and I'm done with porn for good. It's a great feeling to be free.

At one point, did you notice that you had a greater ease in resisting urges? Almost like you didn't have to fight as hard? And if yes, at what point would you say that that happened for you?

Hey MV, congrats on 90 days. Thanks for the tips, it's helpful to think about it as a process and just trying to take it one day at a time. I can wake up in the morning and decide not to fap for one day.

Thanks for sharing these great tips ! We all have to take this into consideration > "While momentarily straying off-course delays one's arrival at his destination, it doesn't send him back to his point of origin. The only men truly at day zero are those who are no longer trying."

You couldn't have said it any better in my opinion... that should motivate NoFappers to keep at it and never give up ![IMG]

Hey freee, well said, I'm on day 4, hopping for a week right now. Even if we do relapse at some point that doesn't mean your back to square one.

Yes! Around the third week, I noticed that the urges were beginning to become a bit more manageable (or I was learning how to manage them better). That was encouraging. At around 45 days, it became easier still. A third phase began around 60 days, after which ignoring urges was more or less my lifestyle. Note that I did not experience any flatline, as some fapstronauts do (but not nearly all).

Thank you for sharing your story and your tips. I needed this today and it has helped me immensely you have been impacting the lives of many others as well. Also, Congratulations on achieving your 1 year goal of fapstinence! You have put some of my thoughts into words and proved it. We all look up to you as a fapstronaut hero.

I liked your analogy in tip #4, "Fighting urges only frustrates you further. Instead, relax and let them wash past you harmlessly like waves on a beach." You have strong willpower. Many successful therapists use this willingness technique with their clients in order to help them overcome their addictions. "The key to self-control is letting go of all control."

I would like to share here the 4 tips I have found to become the highest version of myself in the form of healthy and natural habits: sleep, exercise, diet, and mindset
    Thank you so much

Thank you for sharing your experience!! I especially resonate with the take it one day at a time, and the fact that fighting things only makes them harder, and that relaxation is a better bet overall.

I've crossed the year point a while in the past myself, but I also got back into PMO after that and I've seen that in my case, the changes weren't permanent. I'm curious about long term PMO management; do you ever experience weak moments that come out of the blue? Also, since you're hard mode (I think), are you finding ways to manage your libido elsewhere, like in a relationship?

Cheers, and thanks for sharing and inspiring!
