Im leaving nofap on November 14. My goal is to be at least half recovered by 2017. 6 almost 7 weeks on new years eve. Im leaving nofap during my reboot because i waste alot of time on nofap and I want to forget and move on from PMO and it reminds be of porn and these problems and i just want to be worry free of that so i can focus of other things. Anyways im still upset im leaving because you guys on nofap are the only people i talk to more like type to. If i havent been on in many weeks or months that means im far in my reboot. Ill come back on if i relapse but im not making an excuse to relapse. This is my goodbye to nofap :(
I wish you all on nofap goodluck on your recovery
    I relapsed today

I can imagine being immersed in a community can be a compulsion in itself, I think it works when you're new but may be less appropriate when you're further along. If anything though maybe you can keep in touch with some AP(s) just a bit? Just a thought.

I think so, at least in pm? I know it wouldn't let me post links even in pm until two days after registering but that's long over.

I hope you aren't leaving in a fit of frustration because you just relapsed. It sounds like you're making a level-headed decision and of course we all support whatever is best for your recovery. Good luck!!

  10. Once you leave this world don't look back, either its the problem(pmo/fap) or solution(nofap), don't consider your time you spent here as a waste, everything teaches you something, even this site may teach you lot of things...and yeah its best to move on from pmo and focus on other things in the life.....hope you don't get relapsed anymore:):):):):)

Goodbye dude. If it doesn't help you being on here, then leave by all means. Even so, I hope you will take away with you the many practical things that you have learned and the love and best wishes of those who want the best for you. The main thing is, try and live your life - fill it with as many good things as you can. :)

If you decided, then all we can do is respect your decision.

About wasting time here, it's better to waste ninety days here then leave forever, successful, than to be on and off for years -- some guys do this. It makes me sad when the guys post a successful story after 5 years of trying and you are walking that path.

I tried going back to porn, and I felt even more guilty for doing this because I knew I had support, I had the tools to quit, but I prefered to go back to my old self. But guess what, you can never be the person you once were. Never again. You'll never be the person you are now again.

Consider wasting (or investing) some time here to save future time. See you soon!

PS. If I were to quit this website would be because of overmoderation and some ridiculous guys who are trying to recover and still prefer to think they are Gods.

I think I made it very clear up there. Nobody can force you to stay on NoFap if you don't want. But if your concern is wasting time here, be warned that quitting then come back will waste even more time in the reboot process.

My point is I'd rather waste a fixed amount of time here, e.g. ninety days, than to spend unlimited time trying to reboot, then failing, then trying again, quitting, coming back. I sure want to do other things during my day, but I always keep some time to come here because I start doubting of NoFap if I don't come here regularly.

Ok i get what your saying. So its better to stay here for a while then to leave? I have a problem with perfection and i cant just realize that this is a process and doesnt happen at once. I cant realoze that overtime i change things during my reboot. i have to get off nofap day 1 not day 90 Maybe ill do that

I made it to 113 days without nofap. I cant seem to reboot on nofap. Im more like set a date (this monday) And count weeks (week , week 2 instead of days), and jist forget about it and live my life

I must say that I admire you for doing whatever you need to stop PMO at age 14.

I am 44, and I regret that I was not able to do what you are doing thirty years ago.
