I need help. I am on day 14 and ever since day 7 I haven't had any urges to M. But about two days ago I started noticing that I have some urges to M and it's slowly growing. These could be early warning signs to M or something. How do I prevent the early warning signs of M before it gets too late. Thanks

Take it day by day and minute by minute man. Set yourself small goals like making it to the end of the day. Eventually the urges go away

Edit: Just to add to this, I always found that at 14 days it was toughest. If you can keep your thoughts in check and make sure that you make it through those days, it starts to become a lot easier.

That is terrible advice. Really. It's just... the worst.

First, identify when you are tempted most to M. Is it in stressful situations, boredom, early morning before you get up, etc.? Then, make a plan for how to circumvent it. Avoid the stress if possible and if not, mitigate it. Think of constructive activities to do, so you aren't bored and you achieve something. Resolve to get up as soon as you wake up, so you don't lie there stewing in your fantasy thoughts. Whatever your specific situation is, identify the trigger and make a plan.

Also, find the visual triggers and make a plan to avoid those. If there is a website, or a physical place, or an activity that you do, where there are a lot of known triggers, don't go. If you have to quit youtube or facebook or instagram or twitter, quit. If you have to switch gyms, or change your schedule, do it. If you can't stop staring at the cheerleaders, don't go to the game. If they can't be avoided, resolve to make the right decision BEFORE it's crunch time and your brain is screaming LOOK AT THAT LOOK AT THAT OMG YOU NEED TO SEE THAT because your brain is a loud, annoying bastard that will set you up for failure. It's trying to help, but it's misguided.

That's how you avoid early M triggers.
