Guys, I can not be more excited to explain how greatly I feel.

Never thought it would be possible but in just 4 days I feel so amazingly great thanks to NoFap.

    So, let's start:

I started watching porn at age 13. I firstly watched porn everyday when I was at that age, then I was always watched porn occasionally, out of boredom but sometimes I would watch porn everyday because I felt bored a lot of times. More porn > more anxiety > more lazyness > more boredom.

    I'm 19 btw.

I would watch porn the evening at home or on my bed before going to sleep on my phone.

It would make me feel good. All those sexy girls butts were stimulating my sexual impulsions everytime. All the time I needed to see a good sexy girl having sex on porn to have pleasure. Afterwards, I would feel like a loser sometimes, not always. Other times I would feel satisfied because I had pleasure but that would just make me keep on looking at porn the other day and the other day again.

The lazyness was so damn much, I would struggle to do simple daily things.

But in the same time I was not addicted, even if I would watch it everyday for a period of time. In fact, it didn't take me anything to delete all the porn videos from my computer and start a new me.

The benefits are great, and I feel them all in just 4 days of quitting watching porn:

    - I never have the urge to watch a porn video. ( after just a day of quitting watching porn, I instantly never had any urge since then, amazing isn't it? ) You know why? Because I ask myself. What-the-heck-am-I-doing? Watching girls having sex? What's the reward? You are not the one having sex with them? So what's the point? Why don't you have real sex with a girl you love, instead of watching some girls having sex through a screen? And why are you wasting your time watching all those crap when you could do something productive?

    - I feel so energetic and motivated.

    - I eat healthy and I started to build muscles again. I stopped for a period of time due to guess what? Of course lazyness.

    - I look at women naturally. For what they are: women. I don't objectify women anymore. If I see a sexy pic, my penis stays flat and I say: nice curves, nice looking girl. I'm in control of my body.

    - I never had a wet dream / nocturnal ejaculations since I stopped watching porn.

    - I focus my time on studying. Studying is so good and I love it.

    - I also pass my time listening to lot of music and I love it.

    - I enjoy life now.

Amazing you've made it to 4 days, congratulations! And it's great you're feeling so good about it. I want you to continue feeling good about what you're doing so I'm gonna tell you something I wish someone had told me when I started: "Pink Cloud" is a term coined by recovering alcoholics but can be applied to any substance abuse addiction and even to porn addiction. It describes a phenomenon where a recovering addict feels absolutely mindbogglingly amazing for the first few days of his recovery. I think the reasons aren't quite clear. Probably a mixture between upset chemical balance in the brain and enthusiasm about ones ability to overcome an addiction. But clouds never last forever. And after a while longer, the ugliness of recovery will set in.

Same thing happened to me. I felt amazing for the first two days. I was almost scared of how different I felt. But after two weeks, my mood crashed.
I'm not saying that this will happen to you. But it could happen to you. Possibly. And if it does, I want you to be prepared. A fall you know is coming is easier to get through unharmed. If you crash after an initial high, an instinctive reaction might be to "self-medicate" with porn. But you must endure and turn those 4 days into 40 and more!

I'm a new me basically. I don't feel the urge to watch porn anymore, literally.

I'm way more motivated and and I don't even count the days I've been NoFap. I remembered I started 4 days ago lol.

I just don't see the point of watching porn. I'm not the one having sex with a girl. The actors are, and in many cases, they are not even enjoying it because that ain't even love. They barely know each other.

I'm a virgin and I plan to have sex with the only one I love. I don't want no dramas or cheating. But for now, I'm not even looking for any relationships. I'm focusing on studying and school.

Nofap has given me so much motivation and energy and I feel great. I have a new mindset and I look at life in a better way.

Please don't take what I'm gonna say the wrong way. It was kinda like this with me at first.
But don't kid yourself, the urges will come someday. I'm not trying to make you feel bad with this. I just hope it helps. Even though the urges will appear eventually, you are having the perfect mindset to deal with them. KEEP THIS THOUGHTS IN YOUR HEAD. This is crucial. Keep thinking how pointless it is to waste the effort you made so far just for a few minutes of PMOing. You are in the right path.

Congratulations on 4 days! Every single achievement is awesome down this road.

  6. @Veronico Congratulations on reaching four days! I gotta agree with others here tho, just because it seems all super wonderful now does not mean that some stuff will not set in later. It's nice to have the attitude you are having but at the same time be prepared. Go do your research, set up some mental strategies and safety mechanisms in place just in case the way you feel change. And they will change, feelings always change. You can't rely on them alone for long term success. Be alert, it's the most quiet before the storm, as they say. Good luck!

Yea, everyone here who commented, I agree with. I hope you do breeze right through your reboot, but just in case things get hard, keep a positive attitude and don't give up.

Great job sounds like everything is going great and thinks are starting to look up for you. My advice is to keep doing what your doing and you will continue to feel so much more satisfied not watching porn. Im on day 119 and I still feel super excited about all the benefits I have gotten from nofap. Never look back and continue to embrace this new lifestyle :D
