Lately I haven't been feeling quite well emotionally, last night I posted a thread of combating bad feelings via exercise but due to unconfirmed status of my liver (fully recovered or not). I cannot partake in physical exercise, its been 16 days since my last relapse and I will not quit no matter what it takes. Answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Bro the first few weeks are gonna be hell. During my last streak of 3 months, in the beginning I started to feel more depressed and felt my eMotions much more deeply. You're gonna be more muscular if you work out since the increase of testestrone levels. You'll have more energy. I can tell you're going through the depression phase since you no longer have that constant flow of dopamine from from the excessive pmo. My advice is that stick through it, it gets better

I guess it's different for everyone but for me I felt better after 2 ish weeks I guess. Yeah that's how it is, just keep fighting, since you really have nothing else to lose by staying strong

For me, the only significant withdrawal symptom is extreme horniness. That began to taper off to a manageable level after three weeks. I'm not a depressive person, but for those who are subject to depression, withdrawal from dopamine can bring it on. From what I read, the degree and duration vary.

I beg to differ with @BigCheese. How you feel; when you feel it; and how long it would last would totally be based on the circumstances you find yourself in. Personally, I had a tough time around the 4th week and again sometime last week. I dealt with it differently each time. I'm still standing.

Doesn't have to mean anything negative. Just your brain rebalancing I guess. I know someone has posted on this theme earlier, but I don't know who and where.

  9. so the depression is really positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. that is if I don't do a p sub for two weeks, and because of that, I get depressed, that means I am healing.

Look into taking 5HTP if you're feeling depressed. I use to use it to balance myself back in my drug binging days. It basically breaks down into a chemical that your body turns into serotonin. Google it you can pick it up any place that sells vitamins it will be in there with the vitamins.

Well, it's definite evidence that changing your PMO routine has provoked a response in your mind. Brain chemistry is analogous to a spiderweb pattern of stretched rubber bands. If you suddenly snip one strand anywhere, changes in tension will radiate through the entire network. It takes us a little while to readjust to the new arrangement, but we do readjust.

Sorry, I couldn't find how to post so I'm posting my question as a response. Anyway, since I started Nofap in September, I haven't felt the same. Even after countless relapses I've still been depressed and I can't seem to understand. Is this normal, because I've been depressed for months. I'm not to keen on meds so please try to avoid mentioning. Sorry for the long response and for posting as a reply. Also, can someone please tell me how to create a new discussion? Much appreciated
