    Hello guys,

For those who have Ubuntu installed on their computers, what are the tools you use to block porn sites and explicit images from Google Search?

I had K9 Web Protection on Windows 10 which worked really well, but since I made the switch I haven't found a credible alternative.

    Any tips?

@23Bru : you can use this add-on for firefox: fox web security, this allows you to block all adult contents very accurately.

I am an ubuntu 16.04 LTS user and this works perfectly for me. What you can also do is edit your hosts file to redirect porn sites to 127.0.0.1

However you will fail if you want to block all subdomains of a category, for example block all of xxxx.tumblr.com. You could use regex of the sort '*.tunblr.com' and that might work for you but it didnt for me. If that doesnt you might have to find the ip addresses of these websites and then maybe you can follow this approach.

Check editing the host file to redirect domains on Google for more info.

    Cheers
