I have a mini-challenge for Writers, Artists, Musicians, etc. Basically, sexual energy is supposed to be creative energy. SO. I propose that each day/week/whenever, artists spend a timed session on their craft. In other words, x amount of minutes a day for writing, painting, music, or whatever else floats your boat. The goal is to see if your creative abilities improve as your nofap count raises (musicians may need to record in order to keep track).

  2. To take it a step further, I'd be interested in seeing/hearing what is produced...that'd be cool project.

  3. Yo as an art student this would be fucking useful for my productivity, I'm 1000% in, and I find this is a more than awesome project, especially since I started NoFap (the best and broadest experience of my life yet) purely based on a will to improve creative energy (and inspired by the most inspiring woman ever...) and what I do all day long is updating my journal and whining about other peoples lives instead of drawing my book Raphael I have in mind since a month and I also want to make another book like Léopold's one and make at least a hundred etchings and paint chavs and sneaker slaves and gay porn again.

And just as I was thinking of starting to write a book! god bless ya KyTallGuy this is exactly the thing I needed.

But be careful guys I'm a hurricane, if I start something I do it, so get readyyyy.

Seriously though, what could be a good amount? I personally need some time in order to be productive creatively.

    Fuck I'm so excited!!!!!!

This is a great idea! I need to create some consistent routine. Will think through what works for me.

“You make good work by (among other things) making lots of work that isn't very good, and gradually weeding out the parts that aren't good, the parts that aren't yours. It's called feedback, and it's the most direct route to learning about your own vision. It's also called doing your work. After all, someone has to do your work, and you're the closest person around...

“Art is a high calling – fears are coincidental. Coincidental, sneaky and disruptive, we might add, disguising themselves variously as laziness, resistance to deadlines, irritation with materials or surroundings, distraction over the achievements of others – indeed as anything that keeps you from giving your work your best shot. What separates artists from ex-artists is that those who challenge their fears, continue; those who don't, quit.”

sports can count! Anything productive. As long as you have a way to track and record your progress. Film yourself or keep some type of record you can refer to.

I make music in very experimental style by blending many genres with the main one, hip hop. I also rap, but not too good in english yet.

I have this vision about NoFap Rap Song in the future... Maybe when I reach a certain amount of days.

Edit: I just read your first post again, then I figured it: maybe I should do a rap once in a week maybe and see how much my english enunciation has evolved. It might be a little bit embarassing though.

  8. Since I read this thread yesterday, I finally got THE idea I was looking for because this thread made me think hard about work, AND the balls to ask everybody on Facebook for some reference pictures. I definitely think that this challenge is more than required.

The more embarrassing it is, or more accurately the more WE think it's embarrassing, the better it will be, because it will

Oh and sorry mnkeyseemonkeydo0 bro, I didn't read well enough, thanks to you for the original idea

Where could we actually show the results?

Either here or in a new "journal" threat - either one! Or we can message them to each other

I'm in! I already practice my instrument for hours a day, I just need to get back writing creatively. I went through undergrad with an artists' scholarship, so I consider myself a creative person.

Sounds great, I have films to write, and if I totalled all the time I spent looking at pixels in the past, Im sure I'd have the script I want if that was put to better efforts.

Ah, funny! I was actually writing a classical piece (overture) titled "Per Aspera Ad Astra", that I wished to dedicate to my fellow fapstronauts once completed. Now I have the right topic and excuse to do it.

  14. Seriously Nate omfg?!!?! By any chance do you have a YouTube chanel with your blacksmith videos? I'm highly interested in that, I would tremendously love to learn this art. Oh and I LOVE your counter; would you mind if I'd eventually stole it? I would understand if you prefer me not to!

SO MANY ARTISTS HERE!!! That make me delightfully happy.

Here are some of my older works:

This was the time, when I attended the best rock concert in my life, got pretty inspired by it next day

This one I did, when I was day 50 at the time and tried to hook up with a local girl.

And this one im working on currently, pretty time consuming, but I just love traditional artwork. Drawn on A3, than I will do a digital colored version too.

  16. And here's my site. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL IT CONTAINS A LOT OF TRIGERS!!!! If you got easily triggered, DO FUCKING NOT LOOK AT the Muffins, Rimjobs, Slavelads, Pastel, Subculture, and Posca sections. Loaded with porn based pictures.

I did a huge part of my drawings between January and March, all thanks to NoFap <333

Nice work Martin!! Wish I could draw with pencils like you!

    That's awesome, man!

Alice Cooper is one of my favorite rock artists. I used to listen to him more when I was younger, but I think I'm going to do that right now. Thanks!

I'm mostly into mixed media and constantly move from style to style.

Essentially, my room is an art gallery, I rebuilt it once to keep myself busy:

@COCOROSIE yeah you can steal my counter if you want, i only started blacksmithing last fall so i don't have anything online, i learnt most of what i know about blacksmithing from books and videos on youtube (though I've also taken a few classes from a local smith) , i also highly suggest joining or atleast checking out the forum I Forge Iron, its like nofap except for blacksmiths, swordsmiths, tinsmiths you name it, they also have tons of pictures of blacksmithing works of art that are seriously jaw dropping.

I also can't express how cool i think it is that their are so many other creative people on here.
