Hi, I am a 14 year old who just signed up with nofap. I started masturbating when I was around 12 but in the last year I've been doing it more frequently. Sometimes maybe thrice a day. I've really seen the effects. My school grades have dropped (top student in year level down to 8th or 9th), I've declinced physically, I'm always fatigued, I've gained weight and my general wellbeing and mental health has declined.

Porn has never been a problem for me. I've seen it before, but I can easily just make myself not watch porn, which is what I have done. However, I have trouble regulating how much I masturbate and decided to join for the moral support really.

Well, that's all there is to know about me.

Welcome to the NoFap community mrmoist32451  and I hope you find these tips helpful.
    • Do not touch your penis unless you are peeing or washing it - no exceptions.
    • Do not use porn (in any form), do not masturbate or cum - called hard mode.
    • Remove sexual thoughts and images from your mind, completely/instantaneously.
    • When weakening from temptation get up and do something: for example, exercise.
    • Find a strict Accountability Partner, the best would be someone you know and trust. o_O
Also check The Glossary (above) for the words, phrases and abbreviations we use here.

Mainly keeping myself busy. Since school is starting to ramp up I have to spend a lot more time studying, doing hw ect. It's also the holiday period so I can go to the gym more often in the week. I'm also staying out of my room as possible by using it for study and sleep only.

@mrmoist32451 Welcome! I know exactly what you're talking about, as it's happened to me too. But you got this, don't give up! Oh, and while I LOVE your username, it might, you know, be kinda ironic in a community called NoFap :D

Haha in school we were always obsessed with the word "moist", but not in a sexual way though. We loved its meaning and its phonetics were for some reading very amusing. We didn't need even know it had sexual connotations until a teacher went apeshit at us and said to respect the young ladies in the room (we are usually parallel ed except for a couple of classes). We were thinking to ourselves, "what the actual fuck does that mean?" Then she said that we should not talk about sexual things. Then we realised all along that moist was actually associated with sex. Lmao.

Good to hear that you are able to stay clear of pongraphy! Keep that up. It can easily become addictive. Congratulations on starting this journey early in your life. Hopefully you won't have a long life of shame and guilt that some of us older guys have. If you are able to get discipline in your sexual life now, when hormones are raging, that shows great strength! Congratulations on your academic achievement and taking it seriously. Best of luck if in excelling again.
