Hey guys, I'm 26 from London and need to finally start my journey.

I keep waiting for the right moment or putting it off but I think I just have to start. I keep going 3 days and giving up and haven't tried for a few months. So its 10pm here and I'll class tomorrow as day 1.

Started porn when I was 12 and went through high school extremely shy which I'll put down to social anxiety more than porn but it certainly didn't help. I'm more outgoing now but porn has always messed with me to the point where I dropped out of university because I simply never did the work. I had no drive for success at all and porn would always distract me for getting anything done. I can't blame it all on porn because I also got hooked on an online game. But looking back I was a very lazy person and I feel PMO had something to do with it.

My longest streak to date has been only 5 days, and I really did feel great after just 5 days. I want to get back to that. I noticed I was a lot more confident and a lot more witty, the brain fog was gone and I felt overall happy.

I have a girl whos great, however she gets neglected to the point where we have sex maybe once a month sometimes, this is because I've already done PMO and also with some of the hardcore stuff I used to watch she doesn't attract me despite being a great girl. I know that she deserves much better.

I did actually tell her last year about my porn addiction but we haven't really spoken about it much since then (I avoid it). Shes been very understanding.

I probably won't avoid having sex with her as I quit porn, I feel it wouldn't be fair on her and shes waited long enough for me to sort my shit. However I will limit it to the minimum for the 1st few weeks.

Another reason for quiting is the time wasted. I can spend hours waiting for the right moment which would feel the same as if I spent 5 minutes. I work full time but have a second income from online based work, which could actually be lucrative but it means putting in the work, which I never do. It could actually mean quiting my day job which I dislike but need to put in the effort.

I have been going to the gym for 3 months now lifting, and have increased my testosterone (or feels it anyway) and have noticed a difference in myself so I'm hoping to carry on and put more energy into that with nofap.

Sorry for the long post. Hope I can stick to it. Also sorry if my approach has annoyed anyone I'm always looking for constructive criticism and advice so let me hear it!
