A success, a failure and a question

Hello guys,

Yesterday i completed 90 days on hard mode, it was a great achievement because this is the very first time i managed to do the hard mode.

But today i felt urges like i´ve never felt before, my body was literally in pain and i made the mistake to "discuss" with the urges...Next thing you know, i failed.

I am so sad right now because i really want to quit porn forever, since it ruined my life in so many ways, but i would really like to know your opinion on this:
Do you think that because i failed today i lost all the progress that i´ve made so far??

One of the things that its really hard for me is that i have a gierfriend, and we have plans to get married by the end of 2017/beggining of 2018, but until then, we are trying to keep ourselves and only have sex after getting married.
She knows about my struggles with porn and she is very supportive, but sometimes its difficult because i dont have any way to release.
But theres a good side on it, because i really think that i would need at least a year to fully recover from all the damages that porn has done with my life.

As you can see, i am kind of lost and sad right now, so any advice from you guys would be really appreciated.

Absolutely not.
Look at how far you went! 90 freaking days! That is STELLAR, AMAZING, HOWEVER YOU WANT TO PUT IT, that is the goal of a lot of people here on this site! I made it to 60, then I fell. This is my view on it: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/i-fell-so-what.86030/#post-690571
Now I'm on day 13, having fapped once in the last 73 days.

If you keep the attitude of "I failed", you'll just do it again, and again, and again, and I can imagine that's the last thing you want.
Why do we fall? So we can remember how it feels, and just become more motivated to not do it again. You know you have the ability within you to get to 90, so what's stopping you from going to 200, 300, 400, 1000 days?!?!

Hello, you are doing very well You can do it, thus get rid of PMO from your life. Remember that we, Christians, are doing it for greater purposes. When the urge occurs, try to reflect about what caused your last relapse and where is PMOing going to leave you --> shame, sadness, low self-worth... No you havnt lost all your progress, nowhere near. I hate it when you hear guys say " You failed you are back to day 1"
Its bull crap! don't be taken in with it. If you have been 90 days you have built up a hell of resistance, ive been where you are trust me you have not lost much. Give yourself a couple of weeks or even less, and you will be back to where you were before.
How do you feel after? I mean physically? bet you feel ok? that should tell you a lot.
If you really want to be hard on yourself, I mean day wise id say its like being on day 75.
The next couple of days we tell you a lot.

I'll just add to the others... you've done fantastically well and I honour your decision to wait until marriage too. The important thing is to get back on the horse and carry on riding and taming the thing. Progress is usually incremental so keep going!

Bro, thank u so much for your words, i really like your approach on this. You are so positive and i am struggling to see things on a more positive side, i do believe that positivity attracts positivity and it helps a lot specially in our darkest hours.

Hey bro, you´re absolutely right.
And man, i wish i had discovered nofap at the age that you have. Doing this at your age will prevent you from a lot of things, trust me. Im 27 now, better late than never!

In the 2 days after my relapse i felt like shit, i was realy hard on myself, but now im ok, i am doing my best, and even though i want to quit porn forever, 1 time in 90 days is such an achievement for a guy like me, addicted to internet porn for about 15 years.

Yeah man, but you gotta remember ive been addicted to porn for many years. Actually on this last attempt, the third month was the most difficult.
