I recently achieved the goal of 30-day without PMO, but recently I "watched" porn. I wasn't exactly looking at porn, I just saw a 10 second trailer of a porn movie. I would like to know if I need to restart. I mean, it was just 10 seconds, it was a trailer, it almost didn't have 1 second of continuous, it cut between scenes. This happened because I discovered an ex-pornstar was a DJ and musician, and I thought it was interesting knowing more about these people that most people just see as a "sex maker", as people whose only purpose was to make porn, so I looked for some pornstars to see if I could discover something interesting about their lives, then I remembered that some people would photoshop a Brazzers logo to make a SFW picture look NSFW, then I remembered I didn't know Brazzers, except for the fact that they had porn stuff, and I entered their site and saw this 10-second trailer, now I stopped to think if I need to restart. I don't feel like restarting, but I looked into NSFW content and I would like to know what you guys think

It's amazing how we talk ourselves into doing what we know we should not be doing and find ways to excuse it. That's what I have done in the past and that is what you are doing now.

So I need to restart? Maybe I really was creating excuses so I didn't have to begin again. I was also afraid of restarting and my brain telling I could fap, since I need to restart anyway, but I won't let that happen. If I need to restart, I will restart right now.

Although it was only 10 seconds, what was your intent of opening the site in the first place, for information or to become aroused?

I was curious because I knew that meme of photoshopping the Brazzers logo in SFW images so they looked like they were NSFW, then I got curious, because I never entered their site, like when everybody is joking about it, you understand the joke but you don't know much about it, so I entered their site to see, I thought it was one of those paid sites, and I discovered it is, but then I was seeing a trailer for a porn movie, then I became conscious of what I was doing and I closed it immediately

The reason I asked was if you opened the site originally to be aroused, I would say reset but it sounds as though that was not your original purpose so no reset.

I thought the same thing. I entered by curiosity, saw 10 seconds of a trailer and closed as soon as I noticed what I was doing. I didn't felt like restarting because I wasn't doing anything, I just opened the site, saw that and closed as soon as I realized what was going on. But thanks for the answer

The key is intent. If you intended to open it for arousal that is one thing but opening it and realizing what it is and closing it is another.

You should restart. I have no doubt on this.

Porn is porn. How can you not restart after searching pornstars?

If you did not PMO and only saw a 10 seconds of P, then i would not restart.. I would say you made a stupid mistake, forgive yourself and not do it again... It also depends on what your original reboot goals you set down are and what you agreed to.. Some people in here are on Hard mode and others Monk Mode, and some allow edging. What was your original decision of how you would count time? Also, i have done lots of stupid things out of curiosity, that i luckily scraped by.

I say congratulations on you closing the page asap and getting the hell out of there. That was a win! And it shows your dedication to recovery to come on here and ask if it was a relapse... Good for you!

I say, forgive yourself, and dont do it again. Good job!

I would say no. If you didn't fap, you are still in control.

I'll give you my input. Please don't attach much value to this, it's just my opinion. Your's what counts at the end of day.

Firstly, it is well documented that the brain plays tricks on you to get you to watch P and MO and it's highly likely this is what you were a victim of - on the surface you were curious about their jobs but deep down you were fishing for a P sub. I could be wrong but that's my take, sorry if I'm off here.

Secondly, I'm assuming from your post that you are on a hard mode, no PMO at all. You did watch some P, so you technically did break the terms of your reboot. In addition to this, I for one take pride in my streak and it would destroy me inside out to know that my streak, to an extent, was not entirely real. Without a doubt not everyone thinks the same way as me but if I did that then didn't reset I'd always be thinking 'is my streak even real', 'I may as well relapse as there's no point keeping this going, I already ruined it'.

This may not apply to you and if it doesn't then I would recommend not resetting your streak as it is definitely a great streak. That being said, if anything I've said in this post seems like it may be applicable to you now or in the future just reset. The bigger you are the harder you fall. I believe the same is true for streaks, if you decide at 90 days that you should have reset it will hurt so much. You will think that all the days past now were wasted. This is ultimately you decision but I would lean towards resetting, accountability is an integral part of overcoming our problem you have admitted clicking on a P website.

I wish you the best of luck regardless of your decision, crush your addiction man.
    Thanks,
    Sheppard.

    Curiosity + Internet = ?

Many answers to this. There are limitless paths to take. If a person winds up at P or 'subs, it may shed some light on what is going on in the mind. Either you do the steering, or have unwanted impulses hold sway over you, making you drift, imperceptibly, back to what you are trying to get away from. Answer any impulse like this with something of higher priority. You'll be happier and won't have to question the result.

    Curiosity killed the cat!

I'm surprised the Reset Cop hasn't rendered a judgment yet.

I decided. I will restart, counting from the day I watched that trailer. I realized that what matters is not the quantity of days without P, M or O, what matters are the effects of NoFap. Its almost as I haven't watched P, but I did, even that it was just 10 seconds. Time it's just a measurement. What really matters is that I closed it ASAP. Time is just so we can measure how long have we gone in NoFap. We're not doing this to show people how long we have been without PMO, we're doing this because we want to stay away of PMO for some time. Having time goals is good, because you will have somewhere to reach, and you'll want to reach there. If you loose, you will stay another 30, 90 or how much time you set yourself to without P, M or O. The important is not relapsing.
