Now what the hell is it exactly? We're told (and I can attest to this) that it's different from sexual arousal because (in my case at least) it never turns into an erection or even something that you might enjoy. However could it be related to porn? I know some people without porn addiction who also happen to suffer from OCD get the same groinal response, sometimes to non-sexual thoughts like harm or taboo.

For me, the groinal response started when porn thoughts just creeped into my brain out of nowhere, but I didn't care because I knew I was aroused by porn anyway. That was until I started getting the groinal response to sexually horrific stuff like gay or incest, hence my OCD nightmare ever since then.

    Any thoughts guys?

Come on guys help me out here.

  3. Hi mate. I masturbated to straight porn for 17 years. I'm only 28 now. After time I progressively got bored of straight porn and although I never watched gay porn I started to get gay thoughts and groinal responses to gay thoughts. Completely unwanted and didn't realise they were porn related until recently. I'm on day 14 of my reboot and the thoughts have dramatically decreased . As have the groinal responses. If you were gay , you'd know it. Don't watch porn

Wait, you've never watched gay porn but have you ever watched lesbians or transwomen?

  5. I never watched gay porn. I did venture into transwoman porn briefly. Lesbian porn was a staple in my porn diet along with straight porn. I had become desensitised to regular 'vanilla' porn and started to doubt my sexuality. 16 days in now and gay thoughts are a distant memory. Have had various forms of OCD througout my life but abstaining from porn is the best thing I've done. If you still have groinal responses to men after a good re-boot then that's something to think about more seriously at the time. It sounds to me like you need a good break from porn like I did.

Like I said, I get the groinal response to any taboo thought, even straight. Sometimes I get it when I do something which I'm not supposed to be doing, like smoking in front of my sister or mom.

If the groinal response was any indication of sexual orientation, I'd be fucking cigars and dating all kinds of weird stuff right now LOL!

I also have groinal response and The same things you've mentioned is the same for me. I also have OCD and I think it's just tied to that. But it's not your fault. You didn't want the groinal responses, and you can't control when they happen
