I remember the day I found and made an account on NoFap. I am going to be honest, I have no idea how I found out about this place... I completely forgot how I heard of it.

I heard about nofap from random reading in another forum. A support group for not masturbating? Huh. Cool.

Just to throw some stuff out there, here are three things that I like...

I like my Aerobie Aeropress. It makes one good cup of coffee at a time. No more festering pot that I drink from hours later. No more mold farm, no pipes to purge. One cup. Want more? Boil more water. Start the coffee ritual from scratch. Here's a fresh one. Deja vu? Let's make it a decaf this time.

I like those little 200 ml bottles of Barefoot wine. They're cute. You can buy one of them. Are you the only one in the house having wine with dinner? There you go. One serving. No waste, no harm in finishing the bottle. Want another? Hm. What else could you do with that dollar?

I like e-cigarettes. Really, I like them a lot, because nowadays most of the smokers I know don't smell bad anymore. And they might live longer too, even better! For the few who still stink, I am holding out hope for nicotine-infused antiperspirants and soaps. It could happen. (Kick-starter anyone?) Seriously though, I am super-enthused that fewer people will die from tobacco, if the hype is true.

Addictions! They can be controlled! Or rendered less harmful! Awesomesauces!

 

I watched an interview of the singer I was madly in love with where she says she would build up libido for some days so it would increase her creative power. She's my artistic idol so I followed her naturally. And as I was extremely unhappy and as I stumbled upon a link to the ted talk on tumblr, I found reddit and then decided to change my life and signed up here. Best decision I've ever ever ever made. Erh... Talk about anything? I love cats (especially mine, Muse), cactuses, cocorosie, video games, green tea, forests, watermelons, folk punk, punks, the letter M, Canis Majoris, writing, billions of other things. I'm 1m53, I lost 10kg since I started NoFap but still have 10 to lose. I'm dead shy AND dead extrovert. I was a really hardcore potterhead, and I still love it deeply. I love way to much things to be honest. There's nothing more that I love but talking about them. What I would like the most is share them with someone. I'm not ambitious, I dream really huge, I'll live in New York one day but currently I'm doing my art studies in London, I love kids and kids love me. I'm a hipster who doesn't look like one at all. Space fascinate me, Irvine Welsh might be my favourite author, alcohol works abnormally rapidly on me, Jack Sparrow is my spirit animal, my archer Khajiit and Link are forever my heroes.

I'm a simple girl, I love porn ad that's exactly why I'll never watch some again, same goes for masturbation, I have the soul of a fighter and I can't wait to take boxing classes, I love to talk and especially about myself, I love London and the post-run showers, I love self-improvement, I'm an organisation freak, my tutors keep saying I'm smart and witty but every time I try to make glutinous rice I either burn it or spill it on the floor. I constantly hurt people I love without wanting it. I make drawings and paintings and really bad photos to document my life and my art school cost way too much.

Basically you can say I'm the perfect balanced mix of a London hipster, an American swaggy rapper, a French grandma and a Japanese cook. With tons of other cultures. I'm a melting pot. Hell fucking yes. Daily reminder I'm awesome, and you are too.

Do you all have your own music that puts you in a happy place, that means something emotionally. Something that gets you through a crappy day(something not fed to you by corporate radio)

I watched TedTalk about porn addiction that mentioned yourbrainonporn which then mentioned this site. I came across the site on Thursday 6/5. I think I started an account on Friday 6/6. I was honestly afraid to. I was scared that I would fail. I was scared of how I might feel. I honestly feel a little crazy and wired right now. But I saw someone else say on this site that I should just remember that pressing through this feeling is the challenge. I'm buckled down for the long haul because I don't want to be the man that I am being transformed into by pornography. I honestly feel that there is something that I was designed to do that I am not able to do if I keep this addiction. I'm logging in multiple times a day and every time I do I find encouragement in the fact that there I people here trudging through it just like me.

Just letting out my feelings kinda thing -

Nofap is way harder than anything...
Porn blockers are useless since bypasses are flying around like crazy, yes you don't have 2 click access but you do have access to P in like 2 minutes.One thing leads to another and my will power is down to 0.Then comes the regret and failure afterwards.I feel like i have currently lost hope for everything that matters.
I am disappointment.Ruining my life while i should be going towards my goals.

I clicked through to NoFap from YBOP. I've tried quitting a few times and failed, wasn't sure about signing up here but it's making me more accountable so far.

OK. I quit eating sugar for seven weeks once and didn't get a coldsore until maybe a year afterward (when I was eating heaps of sugar again). I'd like to tell anyone who has genital herpes that they should try quitting sugar to see if it has the same effect down below as it did on my face.

I don't use them either. I like them for their value in helping long-term smokers to take back their health and to stop exposing their little ones to second hand smoke. Older kids who pick up the e-cigs for no reason will pay dearly, but it will be mostly a hit to their wallet, not as much early death and disease.

 

I am happy that i relapsed.Not the relapse it self but that i have managed to fix every bypass that i know of.

Fixed auto googling due to page blocker.
about:config put keywords to false so no more auto google in url
Blocked tor browser exe and installation file so now i cant start tor pernamently[/nsfw]
Only thing left is to get friend to make the page blocker password.
If i need to fap i would need pc restart / solid 5-10 mins to realize what i'm doing
Rather than 2 clics away of p0rn images
