6 Months Today

Holy crap,
It has gotten so much easier,,,,The urges still come sometimes but it is like the volume has been turned down, they just don't seem to hit me the same way.

I remember how absolutely depleted and full of self hatred I was after PMO and I am committed to not living like that. I started with 90 days hard mode, no dating apps, nothing. The withdrawal process was incredibley painful but that is because it was the first time I was facing some things that really needed to be addressed for me to grow and be happy.P has colored my mind in so many negative ways and I am really becoming more and more aware of it. My view of sex and my sex life is really starting to change and is getting much healthier as well. It is not all roses and rainbows but man, I am so grateful to be here.

For anyone new I would say reach out for help, If you are like me and watched porn for years and years it is unrealistic to think that all your problems will be solved in a few months.. I relapsed like a milllion times but it gets better and easier.

Yes someimes, but mostly my problem was DE...this has really gotten a lot better. I don't need to fantasize about porn in order to O during sex which is totally new for me. It struck me that I have never really been able to relax, feel ok about myself and actually enjoy sex until now. Still a work in progress but the voices of self doubt are so much less intense. Porn really made me ashamed of who I was.

 

Definitely after 90 days I could feel a big difference...And six months is a new experience as well. Pretty awesome to feel kinda "normal".
