cannot completely quite masturbation

    Plzz help guys.. I was a masturbation addict fot few years. I was masturbating for five or six times a week. Its been only a month I have been trying too limite and quite it for ever.. but cannot easily. . I have limited it from five times a week into only two times a week now.. but this time a gain did this three times.. I dont know what mathod will help me go on better and leave it forever.. the reason why I cant quite it soon is that after three days I feel like my head is bursting and really feel depress.. that is why if I masturbate once I feel good... help guys

    Hi there,
    it is important that you try to stop it completely, if you relapse that's ok, even normal. but you should try full 90 days of no PMO. If you relapse try again and again.... with no porn or masturbation you have now free time to do new things, if you just stop and don't replace the old habit (masturbation) with a healthier new one (let's say ride a bike, play an instrument, study, go out with friends...) it will always be easier to relapse and feel frustrated.

    Take it one day at a time bro, keep strong.

    also find out what triggers your urge of masturbation. For me it was socialnetworks like facebook and instagram and being door's closed in my room, so, i started avoiding beign isolated in my room and started to frequent the livingroom and i reduced my time in social networks (including whatsapp)

    just do something, like i'm learning a language, reading books (currently the biography of al capone) and self development/business books, working out, hang out with people and work out (at home or gym), what i like to do is pushups all day long and 2-3x a week doing burpees aswell. it's hardcore when you're not used to it

    Doing sports can really help you because it releases stress and tension by releasing endorphins in your body. And setting new goals in life can help you get away from your addiction.

    Keep yourself busy, if you don't have free time you won't have time to m, don't let your mind wander around, just think or do something or anything productively (work, socialize, whatever)

    You need to search deep within yourself and ask why you want to quit and what you expect to happen. When the urge comes stop yourself and list out why you are doing nofap and talk to yourself. Have a speech prepared in advance to repeat to yourself. Good luck!
