    Hello Fapstronauts,

Are you a male under 25 years old who finds it easy to abstain? Are you against every dollar obtained by the pornography industry? Are you upset at all the bodies being objectified, exploited, and even injured? Are you angry about sexual intercourse not being held to a higher standard like it once used to be? Then maybe the new group on NoFap, NoFap Infantry is the right group for you!

This is a group that needs 100% participation by its members… This is not just some random group that you will be a part of… We expect daily post updates, you offering support for the other Group Grunts, and you offering a helpful hand to other Fapstronauts on the forum help as well.

This world needs more strong leaders… This is where it starts… and this is where the pornography industry ends! We will further even plot and plan a way to strike back at pornography… We will strive to end this, and save poor souls!

PRIVATE MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. That is where your evaluation begins. If we like you, and you fit our needs… You’re in!

Honestly, the line "We are the elites of NoFap" comes off as really pretentious and arrogant. Everyone in this forum are on the same boat, no one is better than anyway else.

Not everyone is on the same boat. Some abstain for longer periods of time. I also never said that people who abstain longer are better than those who can't.

By elite, I meant those who get it. Those who are strong enough to do without it for a good length of time.

I take it you don't want to be in the group, so what was the point of posting in my thread?

If you are stressed about having difficulties regarding PMO I would be happy to help you.

i must agree with i want a better life 22 were all equals, weather you've gone 3 seconds or three years that still doesn't make anyone more elite than anyone else. i wish you the best of luck with your group though, its about time the porn and sex industries where scrutinized and brought into the light more.

I agree completely. We must at all costs avoid fragmentation: we're together, we fight together on this against addiction.

I think that the current divisions are perfect: by age group and "women". One of the many beauties of this community is its simplicity: addiction is already damn complicated, so why complicate the process of recovery even more?

From my personal experience here, the two groups that I were part of (College Fapstronauts and FINAO) didn't arrive at a good port: both ended up its existence/activity pretty soon.

I think that it's best to write on your own journal and select some threads to be "faithful" to, because you're interested in the subject and all the ones that post there are free to come and go.

Also, it's probable that you're going to find here members that share your own views and interests, your "fapstronaut friends". A good idea is to keep in touch with them, just as you'll do with a friend in the "real" world. Although a fapstronaut friend, or FF, is something really special in itself, because I've encountered myself sharing things that I wouldn't share even with my closest family members and friends; sometimes, you get along with people because you have a common history and/or common values, but you don't share the same interests. That's another advantage of being here, that you're going to find many sensitive people, with an inner richness that's very difficult to find anywhere else.

I now think that competition (elite groups, badges) could menace the good flow of NOFAP and that it should be avoided. Compete only with yourself, to be better a man than you once were.

Haha... I get that I should've reworded my words a little. This group is by no means competition to other groups.

NoFap Infantry is a tightknit group of friends who help each other, help other fapstonauts on the forum, and try to deter people from pornography.

I wanted experienced Fapstronauts... You know why? Because people with "90+ days since my last reset..." counters are motivating to people having trouble.

I get it! I get it! If you guys want to join the group... private message me... If you don't... move on.

Actually I think this group is a good idea... Yes we are all equals, I don't think it was implied otherwise, but complete abstinence is in itself separate from many of the goals ppl have on here, for some it's not for them. I'm interested in the idea of this group though I do have one reservation, what do you mean by "strike back at the porn industry"?

Basically, deter people from pornography. Explain it's dangers, its abuse, what it can do to people. Get people to basically look down upon it.

It's a dream of mine to completely get rid of it. Once, pornography was illegal... It will be impossible to completely get rid of it, but we can take a small chunk out of it :) You know, like stop people from supporting it.

Private message me if you're interested.

Hmm, an interesting idea, and thanks for replying.
I'm not sure pornography is the real issue, though of course it's the gateway drug many a soul have unwittingly been snared by. I used to fear porn just as I used to fear the way women dress in summertime, I saw it (and sadly them) as the enemy, I no longer do. The issue, and hence the fix, was within me and me alone. Porn no longer has any interest to me, all I see is victimisation, and if a woman felt the need to wear virtually nothing in public, I would see it in the same light. I applaud your efforts in this regard, affirmative action must be taken, but I also agree it would be much more helpful to keep this in a public forum as it would impact the greatest number of people if it's accessible to all. I will post publicly my own views and lessons learnt along my journey with abstinence, but must respectfully decline the invitation to join a private group in this endeavour.... I do however wish you all the success in the world in your attempts to make this a better place

    FreddyNz

PS: I would like to add that since joining these forums, and reading peoples stories, both of success and failures, has been immeasurably helpful to me in times of need, none of which would happen if people didn't take the time and the honesty to publicly share their experiences
