Hi everyone, my name is Andrew and I'm a 26 yo college student. I just literally finished watching a TedX talk video about porn addiction and i wanted to carry the momentum forward so i decided to sign up and to hopefully start rebooting. I've been masturbating fairly regularly since 13-14 yo. When i was watching the aforementioned TedX talk video, i could see myself, my everyday self in the problems associated with porn addiction. All the problems that i identify in myself are related to this addiction. Attention disorder and social anxiety mainly. I'm about to graduate from college, 3 years behind, and I'm looking ahead to start an independent life. I have a long distance relationship with a girl i deeply love (we see each other for like a week or so every 1-2 months, with all that comes with it, sex included). As of now i want to see if i can go 30 days without porn and see where i'm at before setting further goals. I will keep reading posts both here and on r/nofap, but any advice would be immensely appreciated! For those who are reading this, thank you.
