I am 36/m and I have been masturbating since the age of 13. It had reached a stage of 3 or more times a day and was affecting my marriage as I had ED problems most of time. I finally decided that enough was enough and took a decision not to masturbate for the rest of my life based on my reading on nofap.org and yourbrainonporn.com.

My earlier success in giving up porn gave me the initial confidence. I gave up watching porn in Dec'13 for the rest of my life. Though there were lapses (may be 10 times before the start of NoFap and none since then) but I am confident that I will never watch porn again.

I have just completed 50 days of NoFap. I feel elated that I have reached the half way with a realization the habit of porn watching and masturbation belong firmly in my past. My ED problems have disappeared :D. As far as my feelings are concerned, one of my best friends says that I have become very quiet. I feel low most of the time and been flatlining for the past 25 or more days.

However, I have decided to lose 30 lbs of weight starting today. Wish me luck :)

BTW, the counter below shows 49 days. I presume that this is because of time zone difference.

Congrats on 50 days. That's a great accomplishment and it's encouraging to hear you are feeling confident on putting pmo behind you. I'm about halfway to where you're at and still having good and bad days.
As far as the "feeling low most of the time" I wouldn't necessarily say that has to do w abstaining from pmo since you've been off it for so long. I'm sure losing 30 lbs will definitely help any kind if depression.
    Keep it up!
I guess any advice I would give you is don't get cocky or let your guard down, a bad craving could creep up on you any day.

Doing some sports to help you in your weight challenge can take a bit of the grumpiness I think. I always feel better now after some sports, though in general personally I don't feel any strong flat line periods any more. Wish you luck in the rest of your challenge! you can do it!
