Let me make this clear to you folks..
If u relapsed, it is your fault.
You clearly have a choice. You always have a choice but the illusion you like to believe is that u don't..
Remember this when u are going to relapse next time.
It is your own doing to yourself!
This should be good news.. you have the power.

  2. Hi!

My name is William Power and I'm a sexaholic.

  3. You speak the truth. For so long I thought it was negative emotions, unpleasant circumstances and boredom that were the reasons for my relapse. All of that doesn't cause the relapses directly but those help make my decision to seek out porn and masturbation.

  4. Cant argue with that. You have to believe that nofap will do you good. Once you know deep down that nofap is the only way to go it becomes easy.

    You're 200000% right!

When i did about 110-120 days i felt on top of the world.

In less than 60 days i learnt it's about self control.

the streak ended with a meaningless relationship and i resorted back to mo.

Since last year i been hardcore mo.

I so need to get back to it! Had i not fell off tangent i would have had 485 days today!

Your love for recovery and good life must be greater than these urges. Close your eyes and try to sit with this feeling everyday and grow it from within!
This feeling.. this love for the truth. This belief that life can be amazing if you r kind enough to let yourself recover..
If it's an emotional problem, we learn to manage it by other ways. This site teaches ways to do that and you can use this site for this purpose as well.

Well of course it is. But where does blaming ourselves get us? Accountability and self-ownership are outstanding qualities. But let's not overlook a sense of figuring out how to fix a broken psyche rather than place blame thinking this will fix us.

    Remember guys.
    Recovery is very simple.
All you gotta do is not PMO. Don't make it into a philosophical speculation.
My major tips from my experience are as under. Do this and you will succeed.
    1) don't pmo. Duhh..
2)learn meditation... manage emotional problems or vent it out in a good way.
    3) physical exercise and good diet to feel good abt yourself.
    Another few pointers:
    1) don't label yourself as introvert yet at this stage like most do here.. You don't know who or what you are. You need to get out and explore yourself through many things.
    2)Be busy with your life.
3)if you are about to relapse and you're hell bent on doing it, just make a mental note that this is entirely your choice and nothing else...!
4)If you binged or had porn marathon all day... Doesn't matter. You're still going to go outside and do things.
The idea of pointer 4 being that you will NOT let this addiction disrupt you from the vision of your life or schedule you have even if you don't have the mood.
I remember relapsing in my early days and then going out for bowling with my friends when I had no mood. This is to make you naturally feel how pmo is interfering in your life

Spartan17, you are making a very important point. It is easy for alcoholics to blame the bottle instead of the person tipping it. It is the same way here. A child can be the victim, but when, as adults, we click, we cannot blame anybody but the man in the mirror, with his finger on the mouse. We are in control of our future. We choose what we click on, and we live the consequences.
We can also choose to enjoy the blessings of a NoFap reboot and assist each other on that path.

Time tells all. You will come to see where the days of progress lead. Real progress takes years. Years of recovery when you've been fapping for years.

It's difficult. Setbacks happen. But it IS possible to stop watching pornography. Be encouraged!

Pornography addiction, or compulsion, does not define you.

So many people (male and female) have found full recovery. There is hope. You can visit our list of resources here: endsexualexploitation.org/resources

Oh dear. Nice in theory, but the reality is an addict is compelled to use. In order to break his habit, he either needs to strengthen his willpower or weaken the power of his addiction. It probably requires a combination of both. It takes time, and it is a process.

Yes that is right. It is good to have several viewpoints on this vast issue.
