Apparently it takes around 66 days to rewire your brain, or form a habit
    http://elitedaily.com/life/motivation/need-stop-bad-habit-need-66-days/784244/

That is why soldiers go through a basic training that is just slightly longer than 66 days.

Now that I have rewired my brain I'll tell you what I've learned so far:
    • Lust is a weak "force". Love is a strong one.
    • An orgasm is so momentary but love can feel like eternity
    • It is surprisingly difficult to give up PMO once you've started. Don't give up! And don't start again. Respect yourself

So those are the main things. I am definitely still learning and I'm not done with my reboot yet. But I just wanted to share. Thanks for the support.

Huge congratulations to you - it's inspiring to hear what you have achieved.

Have you noticed significant mental and physical improvements or primarily jut a change in attitude? (Not that that is a bad thing)

I do get morning wood now; to be honest I'm not sure why this is a big deal for some people; maybe just as a milestone so they can see that the reboot is working; I think I get less erections overall but when I do it is a good feeling, not a shameful one, if that makes sense. But it has mostly been a change in attitude. I feel better about myself and I give myself more time to invest in myself and that has been most of the improvement

Great stuff. This fourm is such a gift. Thank you all. I went 11 days without PMO , slipped a couple times this week but I'm back on the horse. Didnt like how I felt after the slip AT ALL. It's so not worth it. I've been using PMO for years to bury my feelings, because I could always go back to it when things were bad. Now NoFap is preparing me to make real changes in my life. Gotta stay strong.
