Any TIPS for a guy who is currently unemployed?

Currently unemployed at the moment and I am having the hardest time staying away from P and other energy-draining addictions at home. I'm looking for jobs but that doesn't last long because I'm too busy searching up P and looking for random sexual partners. Is anyone in the same situation? What can I do to keep a CLEAN streak?

  2. Have you tried going to a library to search for jobs on their computers? This will help you get out of the house and hopefully help with removing the temptation to view P since you will be in a public place.

That I have not tried. I plan on re-installing another P blocker on my computer (Easily uninstalled the first one). But I will definitely try to go to my nearest library and use their computers to find a job.

  4. Yeah I found it helpful especially for my morale. I basically made searching for a job my new full time job. I got up, showered, dressed nice, and made sure to spend as much time searching as I possibly could. When you start letting daily things slack then laziness creeps in, then boredom, and finally pmo.

Also smart idea on installing the P blockers. It's not fool proof, but sometimes even having that extra second to delay you can make all the difference. Best of luck to you in your search for employment.

Laziness and PMO warped my brain. It's like I wake up every single morning and do the same thing over and over. And also I fear change because I am stuck in my negative habits.

Consider volunteering for a good cause whilst you are not employed.

Get an accountability partner and have them change and keep the password for your porn blocker. Also, do any crap job for some $ just to get the ball rolling and have some income.. the trickle will become a flood

Unemployed myself, currently on day 133 hard mode so it is possible. I got lazy too so I know how hard it is, on day 3 of giving up gaming and trying to limit time spent online. It is hard because of so much free time. I wish you all the best.

Thats pretty much a solid plan for me. I just need to bring in some income for my family and also to invest in my online business that I am going to be tuning very soon. I definitely will find a good accountability partner to help me along the way with this journey.

What changed? Right now I'm going through the lazy and bad habit phase. What helped you get to 133 days?

Just taking care of each trigger. I noticed I usually relapsed when I was in bed on my laptop, so I stopped useless browsing on laptop and didn't stay in my bed as much. Also mental control, when I have a desire I think of something unpleasant to block out that desire. Also other positive habits like excercise, meditation and cold showers.

  12. Try reading a good book. Like Plato, Aristotle, Dostoyevsky. Philosophy, poetry, etc. You'll hopefully be keeping your mind off PMO and be doing something productive at the same time.

    I am unemployed too... :D
It was too difficulte for me...
Since I was programing my day to PMO once or twice everyday since I graduated 9 months ago... I am lazy too to even workout...
I am on day 50 now...
When you have a lot of time, you will think about PMO a lot and it will lead you to relapse... But you can win though even it is not easy as I did :p

A week ago I got a part time job and even it is very short it helps me to be more confident and social with people and have somthing else to think about it.

    Good luck
