I have many relapses, now I find myself reading the book of breaking cycles, but I struggle to keep my perseverance, some advice, many thanks Friends.

It certainly helps to reaffirm yourself with your motivations for quitting. Also, what specific situations are causing the relapses? If for instance you're alone in your home and lonely when it happens, as you feel an urge starting, leave the home and talk to someone, even if that's just a barista at your local coffee shop or something. If it's a movie, stop watching the movie and do something else you like.

Treat each day as if it's your first in the reboot. Just think to yourself "I can't relapse on the first day."
That's what I did, and it has worked well so far.

What happens is that I have reset my accountant several times, to take my day counter without PMO.

I apologize, but I'm not following what you were trying to say. Would you be willing to rephrase?

u will relapse until ur really ready to find ur new life. and it will be waiting for u. beyond everything the choice is always yours. a choice to listen to the urges or ignore. a choice to step into ur power or throw it away on cheap thrills. people change when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change. the true beauty of life cannot be known if we choose to be beggars.

Hey man … don’t beat yourself up over the relapse, we have all been there.

Main thing is don’t let those negative, toxic thoughts creep into your head , you know the ones “ What’s the fucking point” “ I’ll never beat this , I may as well just watch some P”… when they creep in then the chaser affect will kick even harder and relapse turns onto a binge…. I’ve been there before , we all have…

It really is great that you are reading a book about breaking the cycles though, the more knowledge and more importantly knowledge for yourself as to why you think you need P the stronger you will get in the long run….

You should spend some time on the reading and watching the clips on Your Brain on Porn web site ….. https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/are-fetishes-innate

There is some great stuff on there , but also there is some great stuff on You Tube from Noah Church and Black & White Guy in America.

They talk about how better there Life is without P , how there have become more confident , great self-esteem , focus , no social anxiety , greater circle friends , just a better more fulfilling life.

I know that really inspires me , as rather than trying to get rid of PMO because its bad it has given me something to aim for. ……. A better life with out P ..

I’m not long after a relapse myself but I hope this is of some interest to you and best of luck man !!!

    Keep moving forward
