    Hey peeps.

I'm 44 days without PMO and it's awesome. I get no urges to ever watch it again, however I do get urges to masturbate without any potnography. If I did, would this be considered as a replase and should I then start my counter again? I masturbated a few days ago without Porn. Kinda regretting it.

I guess it depends on how you view it. In my opinion PMO rewards the brain with endless novelty, on the other hand masturbating could be seen as getting rid of old semen. If you consider that the problems we face didn't exist in the past when graphic sexual imagery wasn't available then by not using graphic sexual imagery you are not falsely rewarding your brain.
Before porn a high value alpha male would have a lot of novel females, and the subconscious would reward him for being king. With porn the subconscious rewards us for being king when we are not!
Your counter specifically says "since last PMO'd" so it definately shouldn't be reset. If it so pleases you, you could add a separate counter for "since last MO" and set that to zero.

No P, no PMO relapse. If MO then it would be an MO relapse but that's not what your goal is, is it? So maybe you should overlook it this time since you did it without P. Don't be too hard on yourself since this is still progress.

I have always considered PMO to mean Porn and/or masturbation to orgasm and have reset my counter when I have MO without P.

By my definition it is definitely a relapse, but if you consider PMO to mean masturbation to orgasm while using porn, then it isn't.

Is your aim to quit fapping altogether or just to quit porn?

P/MO - both lead to the same result. Sticky hands, some poor muscles in your arm and a lot of disillusion.

Your true goal is to stop masturbation. Porn is the temptation, after that your imagination is your temptation.

Nofap exists -- use it to go big or go home!! You will be SO MUCH HAPPIER once that habit is gone, your brain will find new ways to make you happy as long as you continue to push yourself in hobbies and other areas of your life

Yes that's true but you gotta give yourself credit when it's due, or you'll just get demotivated. 44 days without M is quite a streak, and when that streak breaks, it's still without P. In my opinion, that is real progress.

I wish I'd be ABLE to MO without P. My brain's so messed up I cannot even create a fantasy in my head that would get me stimulated enough for that.

PMO stands for "porn masturbation orgasm" and you MO'd, so yeah it counts as a relapse because your counter is for PMO. I have two seperate counters: one for MO and one for P, which you might wanna do also.

that's definitely progress, well done on not using pictures of spliffs and weed, next step is to let go your bong

..srsly tho... depends on how you define 'reset', for me it's MO, irrespective of P

Very good point. Some schools of modern psychology perpetuate the idea that sexual fantasy is normal, but any kind of fantasy is a denial of reality, no matter how common or socially accepted it is to play out scenes in one's mind.

You'll notice that other fantasies step in to take the place of the sexual ones: fantasies of harming and abusing others, fantasies of having a lot of wealth, household or the perfect woman, etc. All these fantasies should be recognised as unreal and as much of a lie as the porn itself.

Good advice peeps. I think I consider it as a relapse, despite how much I stayed away from anything pornographic and away from my old setting of watching it. Like Prominent says, go big or go home.

I'm sorry but it's definitely a relapse. the most important part of PMO is actually M, and you did that.
Hope you get back on track and stay with it!
