    Hi All,

I have been masturbating for 15 years now. Most of the time I would masturbate with my pants or underwear on, just rubbing my private part against the mattress while lying down on stomach or even stimulating it with my hand while my clothes were on. However, since last few months I have developed a medical condition, I feel itching and burning around some parts of my pelvic, I feel burning on lower left side near rectum. I know it is tied to my frequent masturbation. I am very worried so I visited two different urologists, they checked my prostate and said I have no prortititus or anything. They also did a blood and urine test and couldn't find anything. However, the itching and burning feeling is still there, when I looked some pictures of male pelvic anatomy online seems like frequent masturbation might have caused my seminal vesicle or ejaculator duct to be swollen but not sure. Now the main problem is the doctors are not able to diagnose it, and I am shy enough to confess to them that I masturbate frequently and that is the main cause of it. I really need some help with this situation, it is really effecting the quality of my life, I can't even sit in chair properly due to this itching and burning feeling. Has anyone else in this community experienced the same thing ? If yes, have you ever consulted a physician ? What has this been diagnosed for you ?

Please share your thoughts with me I really need some help. Sometimes the pain is so frustrating that causes me to masturbate even more. Please note that I have never been in to any sexual relationship with anyone that should rule out the possibility of any STD, my own source of orgasm and ejaculation is masturbation.

This means you have not told your doctor?

Yea dude you need to be honest with your doctor. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Many men masturbate prone as you are describing and most men masturbate including your doctor if he is male. Your health is very important and your doctor cannot give you an accurate diagnosis without all the facts. I am no doctor but unless you are inserting objects in your rectum I am not sure how masturbation can cause problems there. Honest it sounds like pain and itching associated with hemroids.

Tell the dr everything. They don't give a shit what you do they just want to find the problem and ship you out as quickly as possible with a treatment.

@GG2002 and @Fap_Doc it is always easier said than done. I feel very embarrassed to tell the doctor that I am completely and totally addicted to masturbation and despite this itching pain I still rub myself around the mattress and masturbate.

Then don't expect an accurate diagnosis from a professional.

@Fap_Doc what if he says " okay so you know by yourself what caused all these unease in your pelvic so go and stop masturbating"

That's not something a dr would say to a patient.

    Here are your two choices:
    A) grow old and die with sexual dysfunction- never got to experience a woman.
    B) get the problem taken care of and avoid option A. but, some doctor out there heard your "embarrassing" story.

When doctors choose their paths, they do it to help and heal people. Embarrassment, shame, weird addictions, etc. are the least of their concerns. They've studied and worked on cases so different and weird that they've become desensitized to judgment. Even if your doctor is an asshole who will laugh at your problem, what matters is that you get your problem taken care of!

@Fap_Doc and @Kable : Thanks for your responses. What if I setup an appointment with the urologist and just tell him that I have irritation and stinging kinda pain around my pelvic and not confess to him "by the way Dr I am masturbating frequently" rather let him figure out himself , what do you guys suggest ? Do you guys think that might help ?

No. Getting an accurate history from the patient is paramount. Through the history alone, the physician should determine the diagnosis and uses physical examinations and further tests to rule out different diagnoses (differential diagnoses) and also confirm the initial diagnosis. Without the accurate history you're misleading the dr and not allowing them to do their job. Part of obtaining this history is asking you when the symptoms are elicited and what exacerbates or alleviates them.

At this point, I'd love to see you work through the fear of embarrassment. Just be honest about it. I know it's really difficult to think about telling another person what happened- it discourages you to even see a doctor. But, this journey isn't something you do because "it's fun." It's a self-development process. It can break you at times- which is the best part about it. Fighting through in your weakest moments will make you the man you know you can be. You can tell the doctor whatever you like. They can diagnose you and figure it out, but to get the most out of this journey, you can learn to ignore your fear of embarrassment, drop the ego, and be honest 100% of the time. You can use this opportunity to experience what it's like to say "the most embarrassing thing" about yourself. Once you share it with another human being, you'll accept it as a part of who you are, and you'll continue to improve your situation.
Don't let this opportunity slip. Take advantage of it.

@Fap_Doc and @Kable I thank you both for your sincere advice , you might not even imagine how much it means to me. Trust me other than posting this embarrassing question in this nofap forum I have no-where else to go , I pleaded to God to help me with this suffering and perhaps your responses might be a manifestation of his divine guidance, he is guiding me to through you guys and telling me to take some risky brave step and see a doctor and be vulnerable. Maybe to you guys it might look a small step to go and setup an appointment with a urologist and tell him that I have irritation in my pevic and it started when I masturbated continuously. But for a low risk taker and hard headed man like me it is a big deal. I have been rigorously following my recovery journey from sexual and masturbation addiction since last 3 years and so far I have not been able to directly express my condition to someone face to face with my real name , I do have a coaching/therapy session over the phone but I use an anonymous name with my coach and practice vulnerability through the phone. This will be the first time ever in my life that I will drag my "perfectionist self " to a doctor and fess up to this ugly truth in front of him that I masturbated very frequently more than one time per day which caused this itching and irritation in my pelvic. Now again, my "over thinker" and "perfectionist" self in me is over rationalizing right now and is telling me what if the doctor tried to know more, what if he said, "if you knew that this was caused by masturbation then why didn't you try and stop masturbating and see if the pain goes away ?" how am I going to be able to tell him that " see doctor I have been trying to quit it for last 3 years, but it doesn't happen, I am hooked up with it I am totally addicted to it" what if he tried to open a pandora box of all these types of questions ? what if he said, well, you are a sex addict and you need physiological therapy so you rather go and visit a sex addict therapist instead of coming to me for treatment, the "low risk taker" and "over thinker" part of me is telling me just go and tell him that you ejaculate very frequently and that caused the itching, and don't use the term "masturbation" but then what if doctor said, where do you ejaculate, do you ejaculate with your partner, then it will go back to masturbation and all the details around it. I am not sure where I can start from, all I know at this point is that I am suffering physically and I desperately need medical help and I am worried that if I don't go to doctor now it might be too late I don't want to harm my body which may effect my future sexual life with my wife.

The perfectionist and low risk taker inner addict inside me is still whispering that I should abstain from dishonoring myself in front of this urologist and not confess about my masturbation, but I will not listen to him and shatter this illusion and tell him that excessive masturbation is what caused all this irritation and pain all around my pelvic.

I have stayed orgasm free since my rock bottom that was on 23rd April 2017. I will meet the urologist very very soon, and I will try my best to be honest and tell him my situation. Please keep me in your prayers.

That's great news! Way to go. Be clear and humble. The doc is there to help you. There have been more emberassing cases than you. Like guys who got their penises stuck in vacuum cleaners. THAT is emberassing.
I have been to a urologist, too, and it was a woman, and she examined my testicles. It's normal. Once it was done I was surprised how smooth it actually went. She took me very seriously and encouraged me to take the right steps. Whatever scene you keep picturing in your head (doc laughing, looking disgusted, scolding you) it will never happen like this.
