Blocking porn on Android phone, Help please

    I've been using K9 web protection on my PC with a lot of success after I created a new email I had no access to as well as a random password.
    Unfortunately my phone has become my new gateway. Im looking for something similar for android. I've tired Url blocking and several app such as secureteen, safe browser but all seem to be easily bypassed. Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm not an android user. A quick search gave me these resources. I use OpenDNS myself. Be advised OpenDNS will not protect against things like Google image search unless you block all of that (the good and the bad).

    If you can do nothing else, get rid of your smartphone altogether. You can still get basic cell phones that can't surf. That would be the stringest solution.

    I still have a "dumb" phone and I've been consorting this option. The convenience of a smartphone will be hard to do without but, you're right that would be most effective. And changes must to made to beat this.

    Another option I was thinking would be to switch over my sim card while at home, though not a bullet proof idea.

    Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna look into few of these methods. OpenDNS looks useful on my home wifi network, but easy to bypass. It's worth a try!

    IMO, every option out there has a bypass. It's up to you to choose not to bypass it. But short of putting every device you have in child mode and giving passwords to someone else, you are always going to have a way. Don't forget to work on your self control too.

    Now, I've met a few people who could not control spending very large sums of money on camgirls. We are talkin about multiple hundreds into over a thousand. Per month.

    In cases like that, maybe in other cases, it can be useful to start there. Put up a safety net so that you can build your new foundation. But my favorite pick is accountability software. You can go anywhere you want, you'll just get questioned about it.

    I just wish I had friends.

    Honestly, all of my friends are jaded. My problem is that they think PMO is normal. I appreciate the offer though. When I'm ready for that stage, I'll spend some time looking for one. It's like doing Step 5 of the 12 step program. You've gotta find someone you can absolutely trust.
