The Chimp Paradox.

Your Chimp can either be your worst enemy or your best friend. This is the chimp paradox.

Our brain simply put is divided into many sections but for this thread i will focus solely on the pre-frontal lobe otherwise known as the human and the limbic system aka the Chimp.

The Human helps us live a life.
The Chimp helps us survive life.

Two different beings living in all of us and two with very different set of beliefs and values.

 

The chimp controls emotions and is heavily focused on the individuals short-term goals.
While the human looks at the longer-term goals in life.
It is to my belief that the Chimp is the reason each and every one of us are suffering from Porn, Masturbation and Orgasm. Addictions. Illness's. Mental and physical states.
The chimp seeks to attempt to achieve basic human needs such as Food, water, Shelter but also to pass on our genes for the next generation.
You can begin to see how it ties into our lives and how porn is destroying the Chimp, the human, society you name it.

Maybe with enough thought we will be able to completely get rid of disgusting addictions not for one day or one year but for life.

Maybe its time we took a turn in our lives. Mindsets. Beliefs. Choices.
