    Hi!

I have read that and heard that avoiding masturbation will increase your bodys testosterone. I love fitness and working out and that is why I am curious. So does anybody have a study to support or disprove the theory of increased testosterone by not masturbating?

    Thank you for answering!

I just crossed 90 days a few days ago I definitely feel stronger/more testosterone-y than I did before. I have more energy/stamina as well. More like a man, less like a boy :)

I love lifting and some cardio now and then and I always look forward too the 7th day after an O. Maybe done it like 5-10 times now since I got to know about it and it surely has been one of my biggest motivators for abstaining.
The effect isn't always that clear every time. And I usually workout on day 6 and 7 to experience it fully, then rest on day 8. Like, tomorrow I'll workout after work. Then I'll hit the gym again saturday morning at around 8 a.m (when the testosterone levels should be peaking). Now I am more interested in what happens after 15 days of abstaining when the testosterone hits the brain (I'll be back with a link on this) but don't know if I've even gone that far.

"As stated, the preponderance of animal & human studies suggest that neither abstinence nor “too much ejaculation” have any effect on blood testosterone levels. However, there's evidence that ejaculation to the point of sexual satiation triggers multiple brain changes - including a decline in androgen receptors. and increases in estrogen receptors and dopamine-blocking opioids in several brain regions. Full recovery takes about 15 days and is quite apart from addiction-related brain changes."

And with 8 a.m I didn't mean that that is a week after I had an O (with my gf, I do not O intentionally on my own anymore) that was friday night so tonight will be 7 days.

It's weird but my husband definitely gained muscle mass when he stopped fapping (and he doesn't work out and works on a computer) so I would say it does increase T.

  12. when i was on day 52 before i failed i actually was starting to look a lot more muscular and all i was doing was pushups and situps at home, after i fapped and and relapsed for the next few days i actually noticed my size cut down. so i would say it DEFINITELY makes a difference in muscle mass and probably increases testosterone.

  14. after about 12 days of no masturbating I get a lot more energy in the gym. not sure if it is testosterone or not. I just know I have tons of energy.

I'm on day 7 no PMO but I've been over 2 weeks without Porn and I will tell you right now I can feel something. This is not a placebo. I have energy like never before and I have found im very productive. I started working out 2 days ago and I haven't had an urge since hitting the gym. Before the gym I was having a very hard time. It seems too easy now. You got to take that energy and use it or you will probably relapse. And if you think you can't do it or you've tried so many times to stop but ended up giving in I am living proof that it is possible. I've been trying over a year and I think 3 days was my record then I would binge like crazy. I've been doing this for a long time 12+ years everyday 3-5 maybe 8 times a day my record was 21 in a day. Something was missing in my life this was probably the cause of that. So if your wondering if it's worth it I'll tell you it is. How I feel right now is worth it 100%. I don't have the urge to go back to this pathetic life cause I feel amazing. This has to be a testosterone increase without a doubt.

I'm not sure about that but it would seem to make sense - maybe somewhat psychosomatic as the stress, shame, guilt etc. of watching porn does probably affect bodily functions. I know for me I have a great deal of energy loss and overall just feel defeated and lethargic after an episode.

    Here's a related article:
    https://www.muscleforlife.com/how-to-increase-testosterone-naturally/
Basically what its saying is that you want a diet rich in micronutrients if you want to increase your T levels naturally and safe.

One of the best ways to do that is with a really good multivitamin. The multivitamin ensures that you're filling in those gaps if you're not fully getting the vitamins you need for T level increase. Also being sure to eat foods that have those vitamins in them. Here's a list that I made for myself:
Vitamin A - Milk, cheese, eggs (yolk), orange and yellow fruits and vegetables
Vitamin B - Legumes, wholegrain cereals, nuts, seeds, green leafy vegetables
Vitamin C - Citrus fruits, broccoli, strawberry, parsley, cabbage
Vitamin D - Citrus fruits, broccoli, strawberry, parsley, cabbage
Vitamin E - Olives and olive oil, avocado, wholegrain cereals
Iron - Lean meat, green leafy vegetables, legumes
Calcium - Dairy products, almonds, tahini, green leafy vegetables
Magnesium - Nuts, seeds, wholegrains, legumes, green leafy vegetables
Zinc - Lean meat, chicken, fish, sunflower and pumpkin seeds
Selenium - Brazil nuts, wheatgerm, sunflower seeds, oats

Its neccesary to be humble. That is for sure! But another thing its also no bueno to speak negativety. Dont let those thoughts become utterable. Gives satan a stronger arm to defeat us.
