@IGY and @Surfing Poet elections in the US are rigged. The evidence is so clear. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I'm not crazy. Don't believe everything you hear on TV, do your own research. The political parties in the US admit that they choose their nominees beforehand.
Ok fine I don't have exclusive evidence but... Myself just like this political journalist have the same views about things that suggest that it was rigged. http://www.palmerreport.com/opinion/youre-not-just-imagining-it-the-hillary-clinton-vs-donald-trump-vote-totals-do-look-rigged/104/ I believe a lot of what he's saying: "African-Americans in the south went from turning out in droves for Hillary Clinton in the primary to not caring if she won the general election. Donald Trump got sixty-something percent of the same-day voting in Florida. The polling averages were wrong for the first time in modern history. Trump beat his poll numbers despite having spent the primary season tending to fall below them. Clinton fell below her poll numbers despite having spent the primary season tending to beat them. In every state where Trump pulled off a shocking upset victory, he just happened to do it with one percent of the vote. And in an election that everyone cared particularly deeply about, no one really turned out to vote at all. I can accept any one of the above things happening as an isolated fluke. I cannot acceptall the above happening. And so for once in my evidence-driven career, I’m left to believe that the conspiracy theorists are right: the vote tallies are rigged."
Thank you. If you make a statement like you did, you need to have based it on something. So fair enough. I don't really understand what it means because I am not interested in American politics at all. The only logical question that occurs to me is why didn't she challenge the result if there was evidence of vote rigging? If she just accepted it (I don't recall her complaining), it suggests that she accepts it was a fair and unbiased result. Perhaps you have an answer for that, too.
Centre-left. Seems about right. I'm far less socially libertarian than I used to be. Economic Left/Right: -4.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.67
Your Political Compass Economic Left/Right: -5.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.26 It looks like we have a group tendency towards the lower left.
Interesting how different everyone's opinions are. Also, I expected many of the questions to be opinion-based, but I was surprised at how many have a correct answer.
I think that's common among young people. Not just for the current generation, people tend to get more conservative and further to the economic right with age.
Meh. I've taken these tests many times over the years. My results typically alternate between center right and center left. One of my problems has to do with specific policies. I feel like some issues are only considered to be "liberal" or "conservative" because that's what the parties choose for themselves at the moment, not because said policy actually coincides with true liberal/conservative ideology. But whatever. When I used to more ardently back a certain party I would catch myself answering specific ways because that's what I was "supposed to do." I would sometimes stop and ask myself if I weren't lined up with said party, what would my view be then? It's one reason I don't do political parties anymore. I could have answered some of the questions differently.
I personally like isidewith.com and ontheissues.org/ The first one explains the questions and gives answers other than yes/no if you click "Other Stances", the second explains how they see the different levels of support/oppose if you click on the questions.
Exactly why it doesn't make sense to align with a political party. Plus they always put their own party above the people.
Above is my result 6 months ago, did the test again and got this result: Economic Left/Right: 1.63 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.03 I'm becoming a crazy libertarian, I'll have to escape Sweden before they throw me into Gulag. Actually I'm starting to care less about the political situation here in Sweden, because I want to emigrate to another country at some point. Most Swedes seem willing to keep their stupid socialism, well fine then, good luck with that.
