In my journey of Nofap I have noticed this many times when I am in a flatline.
I am in a flatline and then I feel extreme inflammation around my penis and in my eyes, basically all my body is having this inflammation.
And then, it goes away within few minutes.
Can this be body's response when dopamine receptors begins to get alive?
As if the receptors are coming to life after sleeping for so long and body doesnt recognise and tried to fight them but later understands that its part of body and nothing to fight against.

I felt this too but i never paid much attention to it but now I read something about it and I found this article.
    http://www.pnas.org/content/106/42/17615.full

It could mean that when some enzymes or some receptors get re-sensitised, the response is usually with inflammation, because the same receptors are also involved in body's inflammatory system.
When they get activated, the inflammation happens and after some time the body normalises it and you feel fine.
    Its good signs

I though I was the only one with this inflmmation issue,
When I first started my reboot , after 10 days I felt this huge inflammation in my penis and I felt I have some kind of sexually transmitted disease or some urine infection.
The feeling was so burning and inflammation but it resolved within 1 day, and now I am 3 days into new reboot
and I feel some inflammation I like the article shane posted,
    http://www.pnas.org/content/106/42/17615.full
It basically says that inflammation is somehow related to re-sensitization of something in brain, it might be dopamine receptors, whatever it is, I think it means you are healing if it resolves itself within 1-2 days and you go back to normal, hopefully its healing taking place. :)

Thanks man for the article, i read it . I didnt understand it completely but i saw that inflammation is somehow related to resensitisation and some enzymes and also that i am not the only one to feel this inflammation makes me feel relaxed and now im sure that it is sign of some kind of healing and dopamine receptors resensitisation :) Thanks again bro!

Any change means healing, however you have a study posted that gives you some evidence that it might be related to dopamine receptor healing.
I second that and hope you get healed soon. You are certainly on right track. Dont give up.
