Hey man I have the same problem. I think it's okay, but within limits. I can't push my girlfriend for pics, but if she sends them it's okay. And I try to limit it to one fap per month. It's really just determined by you and your goals.

I think it's open to interpretation. I personally believe it is counter-intuitive and if it was me personally I would reset my counter.

If my girlfriend really enjoyed sending me sexts, I would try and use it as a bit of an adrenaline shot before coming home and giving her a good seeing to. But I would not masturbate to it at this stage (I definitely would have before I started nofap).

Frankly, Is wouldn't consider this a problem because, hey, she's your girlfriend. She's a real, not paid human being who has some form (I'm not you; I don't know about your relationship) of feelings towards you. Therefore, you shouldn't reset your counter on the grounds of "it's porn". As to you masturbating to it, I don't know... I'd leave up for debate, but would still reset my counter.

 

Honestly I would reset my own personal counter. I do think you can use your own judgement but for me all my O's come directly from my GF or not at all. Good luck!
