tons of tons of anger + tons of tons of anxiety + boredom + lack of concentration + depression + headache + pain in body ( head to toe) + helplessness + mindlessness == brain fog.

R8js you might be depressed like clinically. Have you considered counseling or medication? I once thought it was a taboo thing but I tried these and they really helped me. Also for the anger try exercise as an outlet. My personal favorite is martial arts like muay thai as you get to punch and kick stuff (preferably a punching bag or something not people lol); it's very cathartic. Also did you read the in case you didn't know post on here? Sorry I don't have the hyperlink but you can find it. Also I dunno your religious background and don't want to offend but praying to Jesus always helps. He helped me to find this group when nothing else wad working. I can pray for you if you want.

Confusion, helplessness, anger, frustration, disappointment, depression, sadness, fear, anxiety, worry.
Feels like a vice clamping your head. Feel like there's no end.
    Feel like life is pointless.

I get brain fog maybe once a month.

I will totally take those prayers to stop looking at porn. and even if the rest do not acknowledge, we could all use prayers. Looking at porn is sadly very addictive, like you wouldn't believe. There was a heroin addict that I saw posting and he said it was easier to get off heroine than porn. Thanks.

Yea man, you can do this! Your body just needs a chance and enough time with other activities/input to reset. I hope you will see some progress soon.

Hey I will definitely be praying for you and others. First I'm praying that we stop believing we can't control this because we can. If you don't feed the monster he won't grow. I'm praying all who are struggling with this will find that inner strength and self control to take back control of our minds so our rational self can be in charge of our bodies and sexual desires and not the other way around.

For me, immediately after I feel fine. But a short time after that I start to feel foggy, just less aware, less focused, mildly depressed. And that last for awhile, a few hours at least. I always feel better, happier, more focused, more aware when I don't look at porn. It also makes me feel angry and distanced from my gf and resistant to any kind of intimacy.

in addition to the fogginess/lack of ability to focus that can sometimes hang on for days, I find that I also can develop crabbiness with my wife and can in fact pick fights - I think I am seeking "the punishment I deserve" - an expression of the guilt I feel... Not fun when it happens and truly not healthy for the relationship.

It felt like severe depression and no motivation to do anything other than go to sleep. Days go by like a zombie. Irritable, unmotivated, and just looking for the next spunk session into the tissue or whatever unlucky clothes that are nearby.

Brain fog is like another form of depression in my opinion .

Have you ever just caught yourself in a blank stare? Where your brain isn't having any acute, particular thoughts--and then you just kind of snap out of it?

To me, brain fog is when you feel like that all the time. You go through the motions of life to some extent, but you're not mentally engaged. I think @I Free I's description of it as "another form of depression" is pretty accurate.

It's a mental state where you have no motivation, no cares, and just feel generally catatonic. It's horrible. It takes the life out of life.
