Blocking Pornsites (chrome)

    Hi everyone,

    Firstly, I dont know English very well so to help me please use simple words :)

    I want to get rid of pornographic but i dont know how to block these websites. After the blocking, there must be no chance to unblock. I want to get rid of it forever. By the way, i am using google chrome.

    You need to use a filtering program such as K9 Bluecoat to be able to filter porn sites properly. There are add ons available for google chrome, but when you have an urge you will most likely by-pass the filtering. It will take you two seconds to switch off the add on filtering on chrome and then you will have a porn binge.

    K9 or Open DNS is very good as well.

    Defiantly K9 - I use it to not only to block porn, but any other site I don't want to visit.

    I was about to suggest K9... another useful tool is webblocker. You have to install it, add websites to a list- uninstall it and they will dissapear forever

    I use K9 as well as in the internet blocker built into the browser to make 110% sure I don't stray away! its a great way to stop you when you feel like having "just a little a peek". If you have a Mac, they have great built in blockers as well built into Safari that work much better than Chrome.
