I have news for you. If you look at the art of Ancient Egypt, China, Greece and Rome, you'll see that porn was around long, long before capitalism.

 

Everyone is bi/omni seksuel, but emotional we are probably straight- hetero- gay, or pedo..

 

I think whilst it is important to recognise that porn of some description has been around since man learned how to put thought to cave wall/stone/paper the notable difference today is the internet which has only really been commercially available for around 25 years. Since photography was invented I believe that was the early catalyst for the commercialisation of pornography, since the medium could be copied and sold for profit and where profit is concerned, often greed becomes a part of that motive. Today the industry is worth billions of dollars and largely it is still unregulated, much of the pornography available on the internet has no proper traceable source (torrent files for example) so this means the user has no real understanding of whether the content is the result of human trafficking or just a couple. Some of the money generated by pornogaphy innevtiably ends up with criminal gangs and is then used on the black market. With the internet, because of the sheer variety of stuff available and millions of websites, a user often starts off by viewing a regular mainstream site and then seeks out further content on other sites and its the ease and fluidity in which this can be acomplished that forms part of the problem for the user. There are people out there right now who are just starting out viewing their first porn site, captured by the sensory experience and maybe they don't have a proper understanding of the pitfalls, so some of those people will end up further down the line being hooked and possibly end up in all sorts of trouble.

 

I don't think porn is the biggest problem. The biggest problem is this oversexualized society, where sex sells everything, dominate everything and is in the center of all. Sex is put on a pedestal. Porn is just a product of that.

 

Porn is a complex question. I'm 41 years old and started with "inocent" male magazines at 15. After a while me and my friends found out VHS. Internet came next.

Captalism responds a market place. We've been consuming porn for a long time. The industrie found a way to earn money from it.

I think the great question is how reverse this male chauvinist education thet we offer to our kids.

We teach men and women to adopt a lifestyle where women are objects.

It´s difficult to change things due to a pressure of our culture witch is reinforeced by capitalism.

we need to regulate the market, but I think we must also think about education

 

I completely relate to this, I have OCD be it mild, I have realised that my excessive 8 year Porn/Masturbation and Orgasm addiction has elevated and made my OCD worse.
Whenever I was on an amazing streak in the past, around 2-3 months of no PMO, my OCD symptoms alleviated and reduced dramatically I felt like I had better control of my thoughts and emotions! you feel like you are an actual healthy, thinking, feeling, living human being and not some robot-human brainwashed and dependent on porn and masturbation for pleasure.

Honestly, porn is just disgusting, you are just watching a bunch of people have sex on a screen, practically jerking off to a bunch of pixels. How messed up is that, the general society nowadays believes that oh ''porn is normal, masturbation/orgasm is normal, everyone does it, don't worry, keep fapping away''... my question to this is, if everyone started eating shit, does eating shit become normal all of a sudden? just because everyone does it now.
Porn is a new phenomena, past couple decades it has escalated like no other especially with the advent of the internet.

Porn and masturbation/ejaculaton deprives a man of his sacred sexual energy/life force, this is the most powerful energy we humans have, and just fapping away desperately at a bunch of people having sex on a screen and wasting your precious semen will make men become weak. weak willed, weak energy, weak inner strength and discipline.
There is a quote I forgot who its by but it goes kind of like this: ''Masturbation will turn a roaring lion into a dead dog in a matter of seconds''

The way I see it a real man is not the one who can have sex all the time and get with so many girls and doesn't give a fuck if he masturbates to porn because he is ''Alpha'' (so he thinks). I believe what makes a real man truly manly, is the one who disciplines his own self, disciplines and controls his impulses, temptations and desires. One who is not a slave to his own mind, one who can resist temptations and not just act out to every impulse or urge. That's what makes a strong, disciplined man, because he has conquered his inner dragon, the former man although he may look strong outwardly but its not consistent or permanent, there will come times where he will become lost, depressed and disconnected from his own inner intuition.

You choose which man you would want to be like, It does not happen in 1 day, it takes time, effort, consistent discipline. Feed the right wolf. The one you feed the most the stronger it will become!
