how watching porn affected my life without even noticing it.

Hello everyone I'm glad to be here at last.

I have been a porn-watching addict since I was 15 (now I'm 21) and since that time I have made a dicision to quit watching porn many times but I always end up watching porn again. (even after a long porn free periods like 40 days)

first I would like to admit that porn fucked my life I was a really social, brave, confident, and happy person before watching porn, then I turned into a shy, non confident, and full of shame person.

I usually watch porn every 5 days or week, that's why I have never called it addiction... and since all of my friends watch porn in even a higher rate I thought it's just a part of life and it's kind of normal in this time until that time when I was surfing the internet and found a post in nofab talking about porn addiction in which the writer states that whether you watch porn everyday or every week it is still addiction, and that was the first time I became true and honest to myself and admit that I'm a porn addict (since I can't quit and always relapse)
so now I decided to join nofab and pick up a challenge and start a porn-free life (hopefully we all will make it )

I hope I will get the best out of this forum... it's just relaxing to find people that are struggling the same thing, and fighting the same battle as yours.

actually I don't have much of a strategy, I just read the nofab thing (how to start with nofab) and thank God it was full of info ( I think it was enough to freak the hell out of my mind whenever I think of porn)
I really do care about my mental health and really want to live a porn free life (I feel like that I have forgotten that... since porn come to my mind in a social situations and sometimes it even makes me feel so shy)

so what I'm going to do now I a 90 porn free challenge....that's the simple plan... and I think I have a really many reasons to quit porn ( I never been so serious about quitting it cuz I was think it's just a "no addiction".

hopefully I will achieve that and come back to normal feelings, especially when you talk to a girl (since I got a little problems in that due tobporn fantasies that come to my mind in the middle of a conversation)

yes man!! we are in the right place... I'm so relieved to find a forum where I can say that I "was a porn addict" and not worry about people judging me cuz we are here for the same reason... hopefully we will all make it
