Should I do it? I need advice.

    So basically I'm a little over 30 days into my reboot. I have been suffering from what I hope and believe is PIED for the last five years. I have made some decent progression I think, but I am nowhere near healed. Usually I rely on ED drugs to get the job done and it usually works.

    Anyhow the reason I am posting this is because this girl I have been interested in for awhile wants to go out tomorrow night on a date. Usually I'm always down for a date and/or casual fling, but in this case I am not sure what to do. Especially if we end up getting intimate with each other, which I expect is going to happen.

    Should I hook up with this girl?

    Will it set me back in my recovery?

    What advice would you give if any?

    I'm a little nervous. I haven't hooked up with a girl in a couple months. I'm always worried whether things will work downstairs even when I take ED drugs. Your advice would be much appreciated.

    The whole point is to avoid stimulation from your hand. Re-wire your brain to orgasm with an actual person.

    There are people who are of the opinion that orgasm during sex hurts a recovery/reboot, but IMO it does not. In fact, it helps, because you're having real sex with an actual person and not masturbating to porn. It retrains your brain. Concerning your ED in this situation, it's up to you. If you say the ED drugs help, then I'd say go for it.

    Just be aware of the chaser effect if you do ultimately decide to hook up with her.

    It's hard not to find yourself in these situations especially living in the city during summer. There are just so many opportunities to meet new girls. I'm thinking that if it comes down to it I'll probably go for it. I'm quite positive I will resist the chaser effect afterwards. I just hope it doesn't disturb my recovery too much.

    It really comes down to what you want. I don't have much time away from PMO. But I would say if I was you I would just wait. I would wait you completed your goal. I am not saying you don't go out with her. I would just try and remain from being physical. You are not only trying to beat PMO but lust.

    I think you would feel better to have complete control over your sexual drive. Or as much as possible and you are on a good role. That is just my opinion but do what you feel is the right thing to do.

    A part of me really wishes she would just wait a couple months and then ask me out. I really want to keep this streak going. It's also a bit of fear. Not being able to perform etc. Sometimes it's good to go towards the fear. I'm pretty bent out of shape over this. I'll update you all as to what happens.
