So how long of nofap until we're normal by normal I mean not obsessed as much with porn, no fapping urges, etc. :) Shoutout to everyone on nofap! only been fapping for like 2-3 years and I'm 16.

I think that probably depends on your previous experience and also it's completely personal to your impulse control. You can liken it to any other addictive behaviour.

I see it like drinking: even if you quit for a while but to some degree or another you will always occasionally want another drink. Some people can have the odd one, others seem to be all or nothing.

The real change comes with an attitude shift - where you see something in a completely different way to how you used to. In this case it's seeing that porn is gross and cartoonish, and thinking 'why would I want to watch that?'

  3. It differs from person to person.
    We all are unique.

  4. Define normal. Do you mean when will you never be tempted by P and M again?

While the temptations will become less severe over time, in my experience they never fully go away. This is a lifelong battle.

I say until you feel and are sure that you have the control.

I would say over 180 days or one year, but I relapsed at 153 days and I heard of people relapsing after years of no PMO. It depends on many things, there is not an exact amount but a state of mind that is to be achieved. I was close once, but not there yet.

  9. I'd again reiterate my previous point. We're always susceptible to sexual temptations. I don't know that they ever fully go away (get easier, yes, but not go away). We either commit to overcoming this for life or we don't commit at all.
