What are some exciting, thrilling hobbies to try?

    If someone replied golf or chess im deleting this thread lOL.

    Although i have my limitations i dont want to jump out of planes. I have noticed a pattern, i typically get tempted when i am lonely and bored. and the reason i enjoy porn, and online chatrooms, and cruising for other guys, is the feeling that it switches my head off and allows me to forget about all the ravaging thoughts that go on in it every day. so i need something that excites me and distracts me..

    any ideas fellas?

    who knows maybe we can both try it out then pm me eachother what we thought, sort of like a fun challenge type thing.

    Someone above recommended trying martial arts. I fully agree. Try joining an MMA gym. It might seem intimidating at first but it is really fun. I got into Qi-Gong and Yoga as well but it isn't for everyone.

    Try taking evening classes or joining in with community events. Eventually, you will find something that peaks your interest.

    Failing that, try reading. I know it seems simple but I've lost countless hours reading great books.

    Edit: I noticed you just wanted exciting hobbies so ignore the reading one. Actually, no, I stand by it. A great book can be thrilling to read.

    I think it pretty much depends on you what you think is exciting or not :D

    I love going out for walks everyday, keeps you from going insane from staying inside all the time. One thing I'm trying to get in my life is learning a language(Duolingo) it's good to be bilingual!
