This was my longest streak. 18 days. But I started cumming without touching myself. Was looking at some pictures of hot girls on Instagram, and I got hard, than had a lot of precum. Than it all just came out eventually. :(

Yeah man that's how it always starts. You just gotta practice catching yourself in those pivotal moments before it happens. NoFap isn't about succeeding; it's about picking yourself up after you fall and pressing on. You can do it, but don't lose faith in yourself!

Hands free orgasm is amazing, had it too when I watched Don Jon. Better stay away from triggers.

    Hey Jesb! :)
Let me tell you something. I promise that you will never ever overcome PMO addiction, if you are looking at pictures of hot girls, because that way you are sending your brain the signals that you are still addicted, because you are objectifying women and because you think about it all the time.

You can do a way better job Jesb!
You know it deep within yourself, that looking at pictures like the ones you wantched will hold you back.

Do not let modern society's bad havits influence your emotions and control your life! Cut out everything like this, if you truly want to see the so called NoFap Superpowers. Without that skill of being able to stop bad habits when they try to rule you, and I say skill intentionally ( = can be learned), you are lost as a human being.
But we do have everything needed within ourselves.

"Wanna get batter? Wanna self improve? Stop looking for a shortcut."

Delete Instagram. Delete it right now, because otherwise you won't succeed in the long run, I PROMISE. Delete Facebook. You can use Messenger without Facebook, so delete Facebook right now.

These social medias will only hold you back Jesb. You know what happens if you don't do it? You will fail. You may think, that "I can still do it while using Instagram". You are right. You CAN do it, but it will be a lot harder for you, and you will fail hundreds of times for no reason.

Sounds like premature ejaculation, could be a problem when having sex. Your best bet would be to stop looking at anything remotely porn related, that means hot girls on instagram. If you can't then good luck giving women a good time for REAL, also see a doctor about this to get some solid advice.

I never actually did orgasm before without touching myself. Is there any link here that I still have a strong sexual place inside of me? To be honest I thought it was an amazing feeling to cum without touching myself.

Could this be a confirmation as well that there is nothing physically wrong with me down there and that it is all a mental problem; thus confirming my problem is without a doubt related to porn/masturbation.

Now you guys say quit instagram and social media. What about dating apps. I still want to go out and meet girls.

It wouldn't be healthy to meet girls if you're still having these thoughts and urges, it would only weaken your will. If you can't look at a hot girl without cumming, you can't respect women, simple. Keep going as long as it takes for you to fix your brain up and get back on track, you will have a much richer experience dating and long-term benefits can't be counted with fingers.

I also had a hands free orgasm last week for the first time ever. It was so weird, I was listen to an ASMR video on youtube trying to overcome my HOCD, and then as soon as I noticed it was a trigger I took my earphone off and before I noticed I had ejaculated. OMG!! Wtf is this. I was completely sttunned because it never happend to me before. It felt exactly as a wet dream

My last reset was a hands free orgasm when I purposefully watched Don Jon to get aroused. After more than an hour I found myself ejaculating. It never happened to me before either no matter how aroused I was watching sexy films.

    Hey everybody,

There is absolutly no problem with hands free orgasm or wet dreams. They happen naturally, and have little to no relation with you being addicted or not. :)
Do not consider this a relapse, because wet dreams are natural.

Keep going on your path. Good luck! :)

I just want to point out that HOCD is a completely different beast from porn addiction, and that simply adhering to nofap will not be what makes your anxiety responses go away. I want to reiterate as plainly as possible: NOFAP IS A JOKE FOR TREATING HOCD, AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! It merely reinforces compulsive thoughts! (I've gone a week, just need to get to a month.. Oh no! I relapsed! etc.) I've tried, and could not last more than a week. Think about it, most people fap more than once a week, and the vast majority do not suffer HOCD. Banking on not using porn or nofap at that point sounds like a long shot at best. But...

What has helped me tremendously is... EXERCISE! Both aerobic and strength exercises are key. It helped at first because I was simply too tired after a workout to think too many negative thoughts. I remember reading about studies showing that moderate intensity aerobic exercises build new synapses in the brain. Try exercising in the morning before you go to work, and latch onto the relative mental peace you'll feel. Something else that helped reduce the intensity of the anxiety responses was St. John's Wort (essentially an herbal Prozac). You can get a month supply at Wal-mart for less than $10. Just be careful if you are taking any medications or antidepressants, as it reduces the efficacy of other drugs and can be dangerous for that reason. I noticed after a day of taking it as directed that the intensity of my anxiety responses were cut in half or so. after a couple weeks of exercise and supplements, it was much, much lower, but it still persisted.

These are good activities, and while they'll help your symptoms a lot, they won't automatically push away your intrusive thoughts. However, these factors, especially the exercise, will be the tools you need to teach yourself how to think your way out of HOCD. What you need to go through your mind is that the sensations are not ANY sort of arousal. Not even "fake" or "not real". Anyone (HOCD or not) can conjure up those very same sensations staring at a blank wall if they tried. That is simply a common symptom of general anxiety that anyone can feel. You simply feel it because your triggers trigger anxiety, and I'm sure your symptoms intensify when you're stressed. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has people view their triggers thinking relaxing thoughts. You need to think "you know what? I truly understand that what I'm feeling is anxiety, and not ANY form of arousal, real OR fake. This dude's really a good guy"

After about 60 secons of truly understanding these concepts while viewing the triggers, you'll be amazed to feel the sensations dwindle away to nothing, and be dumbfounded at just how easy that was. HOCD is a really difficult condition until it becomes easy.

I hope this can provide you with true insight into your condition you did not see before.

Yeah, whenever I relapse it always leads to several days of it. Frustrating.

Most girls, although they're gorgeous, want to be respected, so better work on yourself before dealing with something else. Uninstall instagram and facebook, whenever navigating in there, there appears a trigger from the middle of nowhere. Just check out your notifications if needed. Good luck!

On and off... for 10 years. For the vast majority though, I didn't know about HOCD, and it certainly didn't help that it started in high school when everyone called each other "faggot". What was interesting was that in college, it had all but completely subsided, because as a general anxiety sufferer, I had picked up a new OCD associated with cigarette and marijuana smoke. As bad as it was, I remember saying to myself, "this is nowhere near as bad as what I experienced in high school." Seeing as how I traded one compulsion for another, it is important to understand that HOCD is purely psychological. This is why I think trying to nofap can be especially damaging, as it can reinforce compulsive thoughts of expectation. I respect peoples choices on this site, but it should really be ok to masturbate more than once per week as long as it's not impulsive. Yes, porn is damaging, but only psychologically, and honestly I think a lot of people are leading sedentary lives and are bound to watch porn because of it.

That said, I strongly encourage exercising, even joining a gym and going EVERY DAY. Every morning is even better. There may be triggers at a gym, but it helps a ton to be tired after running around a track, then feeling too tired to think about it anymore.

One last bit of useful mental advice I forgot to mention is that it is always better to be in doubt than to try to verify that you will not get an anxiety response. You will almost always have some sort of anxiety response until you face the HOCD like I mentioned earlier. You can think of that like the "final boss" so to speak, but until then you'

on and off over the course of 10 years, but most of that was due to not knowing the existence of HOCD.

One more bit of useful advice I can give is to know that in general, with HOCD sufferers, there is always some sort of "checking" ritual, as I'm sure you're aware of from research you may have done. They don't really show you techniques to combat this, but they say it is always better to be in doubt than to check. This goes for being on the computer at all. It sounds easier said than done, but just try your best. Maybe go outside and run around your block every time you get those thoughts, or even take a break from work or school in the day to do it when you get the chance. Remember, the aerobic part of your exercise (make sure it's not just running on a treadmill, and has some sort of intensity) will certainly give you the new synaptic pathways you'll need.

Like I said, all of these things will empower you to more easily perform that last exercise. You can think of it like the "final boss".

Just curious, have you tried St. John's wort? I'd like to know other people's experience with it for HOCD.
