how do you stop fantasising about sex?

I use to have an elastic band (like an elastic bracelet or a rubber band) around my wrist. Whenever I found myself fantasizing I'd just give it a tug or gentle snap. It doesn't hurt in any way. It's just a way to bring me back to the present.

What I did when I had a sexual thoughts,I would imagine skeletons having sex and eventually the thoughts went away.

 

"Slap yourself." --> I'm actually going to try this! Seriously, I'll try anything to stop.

 

I like the rubber band theory as well.

I like the rubber band idea but I do it in a metaphorical way. I associate sexual thoughts to bad emotions I had almost every time I had sex that made me sad, ashamed and depressed

 

I use snap bands on my wrist to literally "snap" me out of temptation. It works surprisingly well. I had a struggle today that I was able to overcome by snapping that joker about 10 times in row.

 

You might as well find a monastery

 

Actually I'd love to do a reboot in such a place. Sort of a all encompassing purge. I actually think a little suffering and pain is good for the soul.
