I'm having a hard time

    Hey everyone in the NoFap community! So i have made it to day 12. Well i was doing good so far and then it hit me tonight. As i was sleeping i woke up and ended up masterbating. Sure i am happy i made it 12 days but i know i could have done a lot more! I have noticed a pattern to this. I only do it when it is close to my bed time, when i am in bed, or when i just woke up. It all is around sleep and bed! What do i do to keep myself to go to sleep or busy around my bed time? And how do i stay asleep not waking up wanting to masterbate? My goal is to make it to 1 full entire month without jacking off! BTW this is by far the most helpful and supportive community i have ever been apart of!
     
  2. There's going to be some rough times. It's gonna feel like you absolute have to relapse. But strong men will deny their bodies. They will master their instincts. I recommend working yourself hard in order to go to bed tired, and immediately sleep. There will be times when The desire hits you, and you'll just have to deal with it. Become one of the few, one of the strong!

    Yeah exactly, I actually started to work out pretty late in the evening cause it makes no sense to me if I wanna get things done but get exhausted before of that :D
    Doing so I´ve noticed, once you are exhausted, you just wanna go to your bed and sleep with the good feeling you´ve done amazing this day.
    So yeah, do some exercises before bedtime.

    Also PRACTICE your focus, if you focus subconsciously what you´ve trained yourself to focus, you know bad news or porn content or what so ever, you gonna end up having triggering thoughts or emotions, cause thoughts and emotions stick together, you can´t think about something good and feel bad at the same time xD.

    turn off all your electrionics 1 hour before going bed, and have a cold shower before sleep, this way your will have a sound sleep thus minimizing relapse potential greatly

    totally agree with that, it might sound wierd in the first place taking a cold shower when you actually wanna become dizzy, but your body has to cool down when it wants to fall asleep, taking a cold shower makes that process faster.
    Also open your windows, fill the whole room with fresh air, cool down the room temperature, when it´s way too hot, I mostly get nightmares and then wake up...which just happened today

    Just Masterbate. I don't get on Porn I just have a serious addiction to Masterbation. I have Pron blocked on my Internet so I can't get on it. I just have a masterbation problem and can't seem to quite.
     
  12. Is your room properly ventilated? Before sleeping keep a bottle of water beside your bed. Pee before sleeping. These will help you if you just wake up in the middle of the night for drinking water/peeing/feeling sweaty or hot, etc.
    Now to the problem, if you feel like masterbating when you wake up do a few pushups (about 15-20 or till your limit). Wear pyjamas or shorts and fasten them nicely before sleeping so if you wake up and are about to unfasten them to masterbating, you'll realise you're relapsing. Best tip though is just deny your mind those urges at the beginning when they just pop up. Don't think over it otherwise the urges will become difficult to overcome.
