Is anime too perverted nowadays?

DBZ is good but not the original DB I haven't watched super or gt.

Yu Yu Hakusho is also good on that and Hellsing. Throw in Cowboy Bebop too.

I'd say berserk but you already got that (good except that one episode with guts and casca). I would not recommend the manga though, way too sexual and I've had to stop reading it.

Those are really the only anime I watch and have every episode, my all time favorites, and coincidentally barely any triggering stuff in them.

Anime nowadays is garbage though. Especially these "waifu" fags I'm sure you've come across. Anime is mostly this "harem" garbage.

The 90s hardcore anime I mentioned is your best bet. I personally don't touch any of the modern stuff not only is it perverted but it sucks too.

and if you think movies/tv shows are bad most anime is way way worse lol.

Oh yeah and other than the good stuff like DBZ and Berserk anime is pretty "blue pill" I'm sure you know what I mean. That's why I only watch the stuff I did as a kid and don't touch the modern trash with a 10 foot pole.

 

You should check out Ashita No Joe (1970). It's a story about the hardships of life and "becoming a better person". You don't have to worry about any perverted scenes.

 

Well, I really like watching Anime reading Manga but...I recently stopped reading Manga and rarely watch Anime now. Since, I've a Hentai addiction the best thing for me is just not teach or read that anymore. (Otherwise my brain just associates the most girls WITH Hentai) For me, almost every Anime and Manga are triggering in SOME kind of way....so...yeah for me it's getting more and more perverted.

The original Dragonball is very sexual. They are constantly out to get Bulma's panties or cut some kind of deal with her to see her nude. Then there is Roshi's magazines. I would not reccomend Dragonball but the others should be fine, DBZ, super, etc...
There has always been a certain sexualization of women in anime, if it triggers you or you were into the anime porn stuff, I wouldn't reccomend it at all.

Attack on titan, hitman reborn, assassination classroom, FMA brotherhood, and maybe hero academy (very little but still every now and then has ecchi) These are all anime that I'd say are pretty PMO/trigger free

 

There are some modern anime that are good imo like Bakuman, One Punch Man, and Knights of Sidonia. But I will say that most recent anime feels like it is getting more perverted. Also it depends on what you define as perverted. Hayao Miyazaki films are always enjoyable to watch, but I'm not sure about recommending anything by Satoshi Kon besides Paranoia Agent since his stuff can be pretty "graphic". Not sure if you ever seen Ghost In The Shell, Akira, or Fist Of The North Star so those would be good to check out. Other than that, I can recommend :

Watch Ajin: Demi Human, its amazing, give it a few episodes though cause it might weird you out, its 3d anime, but you get used to it a couple episodes, then its amazing, there's only one sexyish scene in season 2, they show one character in underwear for a minute, but that's about it for the entire series I think, other then a couple extra episodes I haven't seen yet cause it hasn't been dubbed.

 

Another anime I really like, though it does get a bit sexy, main character wears a weird outfit in the first season, and there's some nudity "Its supposed to be cyborgs, but hey, if it looks like a tit its a tit to my mind" but its defiantly not as sexual as some other anime I've seen, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, its a good one, more of a dark mature sci-fi world.

 

Lesbian? I know I heard about something like this in the manga, some stupid excuse that "Cyborgs can't make love with the opposite gender body" but even though that, in the SAC series I get the impression that if anything she's more bi than lesbian, personally, I kinda got the hint that the Major and Batou liked each other, though that could just be me.

Well seeing they're interactions gives me that impression, without "revealing" also in one episode "spoiler if you haven't gotten there don't know if you watched the whole thing" Batou had a fake picture of his "family" and Motoko posed as the wife, that kinda made me think "Hmmm, what if there's actually something in that?" Lol, could be me over thinking, but listening to them interact makes me feel they do.

 

Yes, of course it is. If you scroll through a "new anime" list, a lot of them have sexual connotations or characters who are deprived of real human emotions only to become arousing or too entertaining. Even great ones like Code Geass have this kind of connotations in some scenes, "fanservice". Not to start with things like SAO too...

I am sure I relapsed on many of my streaks because of triggering anime images or series, I tried to evade them for the most part but slowly but surely they came back. YouTube has, for example, many "nightcore" songs (pitched up and accelerated pop songs) with provocative thumbnails to lure people like me who are hentai addicts. Many anime are good and even the sexual ones have great content sometimes, but it is becoming too problematic; all in all, I do not find them to be as satisfying as before neither. My solution is to not engage in those things again until I find I am ready.

 

Sword Art Online has two scenes with nudity in season one. In season two - cannot remeber any, but that one in dressing room could be triggering.

Psycho-Pass is a good one, but it has some nudity, in episode one and around episode 17, "antenna situation". I strongly recommend watching this one.

Schwarzesmarken - barely any nudity, but big tits + tight costumes could do their job.

Cowboy Bebop - apart from one trans character and TV presenter from Big Shot it's OK.

Accel World - some nudity.

Girls und Panzer - WOW! NO NUDITY! At least in the main series, film, and Little Army manga spinoff. Some OVAs have nudity. Ribbon Warrior manga has swimsuits and so on.

Youjo Senki (Saga of Tanya the Evil) - no nudity.

Gate - nudity to make jokes about nudity and erotic content. But do not watch, Rory Mercury is triggering character.
