    Hello fellow Fapstronauts.

I'm here for encouragement. I think we often get too stuck on the numbers (days of NoFap) and when we relapse we think we failed ourselves verses focusing on the fact that we had the will power to abstain for a week, month, etc.

I started this journey around this time last year and most of my streaks lasted a month. Then I would relapse and be upset at myself, but at some point I would try again because I knew this was unhealthy and saw some of the benefits when I would abstain.

Right now I'm past 60. I stopped counting because I felt like I was too focused on that and often times when I hit 30 I would relapse because I felt like I came such a long time. Right now, I feel like I'm reaping the benefits of NoFap. I rarely have the urge to fap. I don't think I have any pornblockers, but granted I haven't checked. I'm just living my life and checking the forums randomly when I need motivation, but not everyday like I used too.

I do think frequent visits to the NoFap forums are necessary for beginners and creating a journal is important.

If you are a newcomer, I highly suggest you take everybody's suggestions to heart when they talk about meditation, cold showers, working out; all those things are necessary when doing this journey. And it helps if your goal is to improve yourself and evolve into the best version of yourself. It goes beyond NoFap. It's about being your best you.

When I get the urge, I tend to look at success stories because it reminds me why I went into this journey in the first place. Like I said before, I think it's crucial to be on the site pretty frequently when you first start this journey and post regularly in the journal section and if you make it through that way, then thats great. But at some point, you need to focus on living your life and you'll be less focused on P. You'll know when that time comes.
