It helped me to realize that P is a lie, like other movies. We know that we can't fall off of a building and just land in a passing truck; we are not James Bond, we live in the real world where people that fall off buildings go splat and have funerals. If we deliver a pizza, we hope for a decent tip; we know that there will be no orgy. What happens on the screen happens in front of cameras, well rehearsed, well directed, and well edited. Real life has no retakes until we get the screen just right. When we stumble on our words, we get laughed at. That is life.

 

It just shows that porn has nothing to do with reality. It's a fantasy world where none of those acts ever take place in real life. You need to reboot for 90 days at least to rewire your brain into a different mindset.

 

Even if pornographers made "realistic" porn that mimicked "real world sex", it's still fake. It's people capitalizing on sexual desire and turning something to be shared in a loving relationship into a product. The goal is to profit as much as possible.

But let's be real, pornographers have twisted sex into something inhumane and pumped the masses full of deviant sexual ideologies essentially warping people's minds and hearts in really disturbing ways.

 

Stop watching porn already.

all I know Is this. reality is a lot more fun than any fantasy you can make up. why? because you can actually do whatever you want. develop your skills to achieve whatever it is that you want. your only limited to what you believe you can do.

As much as I agree with your sentiment that porn warps society's views on sex, I think this notion of sex being solely reserved for two people in a relationship is very dated and closed minded.

Sex between two strangers can be one of the most exhilarating experiences the human body can have. It doesn't need to be "sleazy" or "deviant".

You see a lot of "Real Life" style scenes in porn; whereby two people will meet in a bar and end up back at a hotel room having the most amazing sex. Yes technically it's a fantasy, but these things do happen on a regular basis. I can attest to them on a first hand basis.

There will come a time in your life when you get bored of having random hookups though and will crave something more "real" and fulfilling. I do think it's good for people to experience a world of fun, but safe sex before committing to a long term relationship.

I know I went off on a bit of a tangent but it's just the point I was drawn to the most in your statement.

 

During my Porn endeavors, when POV was introduced I was hook line and sinker for it to me it became one of the best porn to watch which it worse to quit especially those interactive ones.
The industry is making it harder and harder for us to get off it.
But porn is all fake no matter how pretty they make it look.

I'm surprised i've never heard of 'POV' before...please enlighten me? as for porn in general. I think the majority of problems stem from the expectations people take from porn vs the real world. Porn wont teach you how to 'woo' a potential partner or teach you how to treat them with respect or dignity. It won't teach you how to be a gentleman or a real man of any worth deserving of a decent woman who will stay by your side through thick or thin. When we become trapped in the cycle of viewing porn and not going out and interacting with the real world and making real and meaningful connections with others we set ourselves up for a a very difficult social life..if any! I'm having to start from fresh from most aspects of my life since so much of my time and attention was directed towards consuming content that I forgot who I really was and how to form meaningful relationships.

Movies (wether porn or not) try to relate with viewers. Often our favorite movies are those with which we are able to relate most. Same is with porn. People like to watch a particular kind of porn, with which they can relate most or attach their fantasies with. Thats why porn sites have this huge catalogue. It is dangerous and can deceive your brain in most ugly ways.
