    I am a 55-year-old man in search of an authentic, joyful, bold, courageous, kick-ass life! My emotional, creative and spiritual life has been on hold for many years because of my porn addiction. I've been stuck in a holding pattern of indulgence and abstinence, rebellion and recrimination.

    I have tried many, many things to break this cycle of porn addiction but haven't found anything that works. This is because I've been looking outside of myself for a solution while at the same time remaining ambivalent about recovery.

    Despite my B.A. degree in Pyschology and a recent Counseling program I completed, I haven't been able to use all the knowledge I've gained to help myself find recovery. I am determined to do it this time but I need help.

    I joined this community two years ago which is why my handle is PF53 The PF stands for Porn Free. I hope to live up to that now!
